I use FMLA leave for my Rheumatoid Arthritis throughout the year. They make me redo my FMLA form every year.

What if I had a treatment appointment for mental health under FMLA and I specified I was using an FMLA day for this reason and my supervisor still asked me to move my appointment?

Same happened today I was told I can’t take leave the whole day for doc appointment related to my ADA😢 it’s not reasonable but it’s a specialty appointment 😮

When I use my FMLA they told me to call in the supervisor office and let my HR know to. And I use FMLA online. It's for my parent

It's funny how FMLA does not prohibit employers from forcing.employees with approved intermittent FMLA out of state work travel. A stupid loophole that keeps me from being a caregiver to my daughter with type 1 diabetes when my breast cancer surviving wife has various appointments for the 30 days that I will be unwilling away. Someday, a congress person with guts will correct this issue with a no brainer amendment. But until then, I will pray for that miracle.

I have fmla intermittent leave i have been on it for 2 years never had a problem my boss has never asked me for a doctors excuess but my boss and i got into it and now she is asking me for one what can i do?Can she now start asking me for it?

My intermittent fmla to care for my mom, expired and I had not gotten in a new form before I had to take a week off. I have been on intermittent fmla for 9 yrs since mom had her stroke and used either sick or vacation time when caregivers would not show up or she was in the hospital. As of now I have run out of all paid leave. So now I have no fmla in place and the week was unpaid. Can they now terminate me? I have had to renew my fmla request every year and things just got away from me and I did not realize it was time to get the forms updated.

What if the FMLA exceeds the 12 weeks even under the intermittent FMLA can you still be terminated or lose your full time position legally?
