I'm 43 years old and still remember my first fish caught when I was 5 years old with my father, a 12" walleye in Starkweather Creek in Madison, WI ! All of my favorite memories are fishing with my father since the cancer took him 22 years ago. Fishing is a passion that he shared with me and I can't get enough of to this day, and it also makes me feel like he is still around in some sort of way. I have taught friends how to fish and there is nothing better than seeing their reactions when they hook up and land something !

I take my 15, 6 and 3 year old kids out and working on getting my wife out to. My daughter helps with the two boys and they catch sunfish and bluegill's galore. They all get pumped when I pull out the bass. Trying to get my son on his 1st bass. Just a fun time. Thank you for sharing this!! Real precious moment. Well done DAD!!

Last September I visited my granddaughter in Colorado and took her fishing. She was 3 and had fun. She would pick up the worm without hesitation which surprised me because I thought she would think it gross. Now my granddaughter wants to go fishing with her pop-pop. It sucks though I live in Washington she’s in Colorado. So great to see you teaching your daughter to fish and having a good time.

Man I absolutely loved this video! My daughter and I still fish together even now she’s 23 and has served in the Army and working on her education now in college we still fish together on the regular. Hold on tight she will grow up faster than you want but it’s so worth it.

Dude awesome moments in life. Treasure them all. My son is 22 and daughter is 19. I loved everytime I got to see them catch first fish, crawcrab, snake, snapping turtles. My kids would do anything outdoors. We live in West Virginia.

I got my kids the first big bass last year and they are hooked on fishing to it’s always great to see kids laughing and having a great time because that’s what it’s all about give back to the next generation

I decided last year to take up fishing at 52 and then promptly proceeded to tear up my meniscus, but it took a minute to diagnose. So, in an effort to educate myself, I looked at vids of bank fishing. I stumbled on one of you and Mrs LoJo fishing. I think it was one that you had at the beginning of this video. I also was looking at it as a way to get the lady of the house interested as well. We've been fans ever since, though some content she likes more than others. So, thanks for that.
