i love doing things on my own! throughout school i didn’t have any close friends until sixth form and never did stuff alone because i was embarrassed at the thought, it was only when i got to uni and i experienced loneliness again for the first year or so that i started doing things alone and realised it’s actually so much fun! things like concerts, cinemas, restaurants, even solo travelling!! it’s so important to enjoy your own company and not let the lack of other people’s company stop you from having experienced and making memories!! (sorry for the essays lol 😅)
i have severe anxiety which makes me really struggle to go anywhere on my own and this video was so lovely and really encouraged/inspired me, thank you 💖
I have always been the kind of person to go almost everywhere alone. Be it a park or a cafe. I won't lie , the stigma of being alone gets to me sometimes but I wouldn't trade this joy for anyone's company. Afterall we all are alone in this world
so cool that you’re sharing your positive, uplifting and self-loving vibes with us.. we really need that at the moment.. know that you are a ray of sunshine in many people’s lives.. i appreciate you really much! i’d love to see more talking and sit-down vids.. always love to hear your pov on things.. maybe you could also recommend some music, books, series and stuff like that..
I feel like I’ve been doing so many plans on my own this past year. I moved to the UK without having any friends here (just my grandparents lol). And it’s been great hanging out on my own ☺️ My go to plan is also food and charity shopping x
@@naynaflorence i love it when you make food related videos! - more of thesewuld be brill! a flat tour would be cool to see too Cheerleading videos would be so useful to me! - how you got into cheer and your experience etc Also, i can't wait for you to start doing christmas related videos: minimalsitic/sustainable gift ideas your thoughts on how we can still make christmas special during the pandemic a christmas thrifting haul? love the videos nayna, but please don't be pressured to produce content every week. if you need a break then take one, it's not the end of the world xxxx
I grew up really near portobello and I always love when you go to the beaches because it reminds me of summers from my childhood:) we moved near London and i'm year 12 now and really want to go to Edinburgh Uni to study Economics with politics, love ur videos sm!!
This video really helped me understand that taking time off is still productive and that your like a battery. If you work to hard you run out (the feeling of being burnt out) so take some time to charge (self care time) to help your performance.
this is literally one of my favourite videos ever!! It really felt as if I was there with you looking at the sea! I also love love love the sea so much, it is just so calming, so loved the amount of footage of the sea haha
such a good reminder to become comfortable spending time with yourself 😌 as for video suggestions: favourite books/movies, q&a video, or what you do on a rainy day indoors (on a less productive/chill day)
The fact that you told that self date is imp even if u're Nt in a relationship, It is sooo true. I have been treating myself on self dates occasionally and it literally makes me feel happy and grateful.
I absolutely loved this one! I love to do things on my own and sometime this makes me feel like an anti-social... but it’s totally fine and healthy! Thank you so much for sharing
loved this video Nayna ♡︎ Would also love to see a video on long distance and how you get through it. I’ve been in one for 8 months now and im struggling! much love ♥︎
its so important to remember that you dont need to wait on others to do things! spending time on your own outside of your home is really good in my opinion
Yesss self love baby!! Remember guys to take care of yourself during tough times we're all going through rn 🤎Our bodies are all dependent on us to function and let us do the things we love💓
I was going to film this EXACT video but then England went into lockdown 🤣🤣 I wanted to take myself to a restaurant and sink in my own thoughts!! Maybe in 2021 aha ❤️✨ loved the video girl x
I'm watching this in bed, right before I sleep, and honest to god, it's one of the best things I've seen in quite a while. This makes me soo happy! I promise myself I'm going to take myself out for a date soon too, it's been long!❤️
i used to do this a lot before the pandemic. i would go to cafes, take myself out on lunch and dinner, shop and go to cinemas (last movie i watched before the lockdown was birds of prey, it's been a while). i just love going on dates with myself on weekends after a long week of work. but now im just stuck at home and it's been months since i went out. i miss taking myself on dates, it was really nice watching this. thank u, nayna! 🤍
this video was so well done and your vibe is so REFRESHING!!! can you do some videos on sustainable fashion like how you control yourself from buying from sales, and finding cute things on depot, and not succumbing to trends but also if you really like it how you go about it in a sustainable manner :) thank you!,, literally one of my FAVOURITE youtubers, found you when you were at 30k and couldn’t be more proud of where you’re at! xx
Exactly what I needed! Been finding myself spending so much more time by myself than normal and this was such wholesome inspiration for how to enjoy it!! 💜💜
Loved this video idea! So true, very important to spend time with yourself. I did the same this weekend and cosied up with my current read. Would love to see a video on the books you’ve read so far and what you’d recommend x
this is so cute! as a massive introvert/homebody i am not huge on people but i love doing activities alone! cafés and reading alone is always such a vibe 🥰❤️ also i just noticed that you put your pronouns in your insta bio - you might have done it awhile ago and i just haven’t checked but i absolutely love that, thank you for doing that n being an ally to the community!
this video made me smile and appriciate the little things in life 😍💕 i need to do this myself, i'm in a long distance relationship as well and studying all week so it will be nice to take a small break :)
This was just the sweetest thing. You should do a week full of snippets of things that made you smile. Like a gratitude vlog! Hard to capture most things in the moment sometimes but!
outfit ideas please!! make it practical! i'm an international fresher in the UK and I'm wondering how to look cute despite the cold winter weather haha, all i do is wrap myself up in a huge coat and thats it
Thx soooo much such a cosy, chilled, happy video the only emoji I can use to sum it up😊😊 video ideas: food shopping haul, daily vlog, favourite vegan meals, Thrift with me... xxx
I loved that video Nayna! And my favorite videos are what I eat in a day because I'm vegan too and this videos inspire me for my meal plan of the week, and vlogs, a lot of vlogs!
omg love bross bagels! i've lived in edinburgh for 7 years now and i forget to take advantage of the city i get so stuck in the work/home routine. this video makes me want to get out more!
your hair is SO luscious and beautiful! so nice that you were able to take yourself out on a little date. people should stigmatizing doing things alone. it's extremely cathartic and calming.
I missed this ya know cause I was soooo bsy yesterday omg IMMM DEEFFSSS GONNNAA CATCH UP ON THIS VIDEO I KNOW IS BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED!! LOVE U LOADS NAYNA!! Sending virtual hugs xxxxxxxxxx
This was exactly what I needed Nayna! I spend the whole week waiting for a new video and when I saw this one coming I almost started crying from comfort tears, if this makes any sense lol. I have been struggling a lot with feeling good and appreciate my own company since I have moved to London last year to study (I'm from Portugal tho). I used to shut myself in my own room for days just because I didn't have the courage to take myself on a date to appreciate the beauty of London and just take the most advantage of this opportunity. I am now living in Portugal because of the pandemic (currently only having online classes) and have already tried to take myself on dates. Even though it rarely happens, it turns out being one of the best experiences ever! Thank you so much for this video and for encouraging people to love themselves, you sure helped me on this journey of self love and I am sure you will continue to do so
I don’t normally comment but I loved this video, it’s inspired me to take myself on a date too! We are our longest relationships after all, I love your videos, the shots/ editing/ music... so good!! 💛 hope you had a lovely weekend
Thank you for your calm vibes and positive energy, Nayna! At the same time I really appreciate your honesty about being down sometimes ❤️ I always find my time alone so magical, despite having friends and a bf, so it was so nice to see you enjoying your time by yourself!! :D
loved this nayna!! i have always really enjoyed going out and doing things on my own, and didn’t realize until i was older that not everyone is comfortable doing so. so important to take care of yourself and be independent! 💓
wow, that bagel looked absolutely delicious. i enjoyed this vlog so much. it's always important to center one's self. also, how do you vlog yourself in public without panicking?? i've been trying to get over myself but then I'm like: i'm shy
