I even travel alone … go to museum alone … go to clubs alone … why would I be with people that will ruin my mood in one way or another or complain or whatever … now my fiancée is exactly like me … we like the same stuff … we don’t complain … it’s the best…. It if I really want to go somewhere and he has to work … I go and come back … same with him … if he wants to do something I really don’t want he goes and come back … of course we share each other’s passion … but I’m not going to sit him down for a 3 days 3 hours figure skating competition … lol

Girl you killed it! I also suffer from social anxiety to the point where if I go to the store, I have to hype myself up to get out of my car. But pre-covid, I use to go to brunch by myself and it was amazing. You just get to be without having to worry about being “on” all the time.

I actually live this so much. When I was single I would take myself on dates all the time. It took some getting used to but it really did help me learn who I was and what I wanted in a partner. It also helped me realize that I was absolutely content not having a partner even though all my friends did.

As someone whose partner travels a decent amount for work, I go with them, but explore cities alone typically. My go-to is an outfit I feel SUPER comfy in. I don’t want to be standing out or not feel like myself. As much as we want that hot ass outfit, being comfortable is the way to go. Also our world isn’t super safe and blending in can be really helpful. Loved the concept of this video! Thanks for showing your vulnerability ❤️ would love to see a part two of how’d you do it again

Nothing wrong taking oneself out on a date especially when it comes to just wanting to treat oneself to food /beverage - it’s not necessary to always eat out w/ people. The introvert in me would rather not eat with others. The fact that People rely on societal expectations that give them validation of what to do and what not to do defeats the purpose of living on their own terms and or being the boss of their own life. Seeking validation will keep you trapped. You don’t need anything or anyone to approve of your worth. When you understand this you will be free.
