GrgRider it’s such a good engine, VaG get 250 out of them and warranty them for 150k miles and they are good for emissions and fuel efficiency

I have a vw up, and and a audi a3 bkd quattro, How hard is the swap ? I dont really need 360 hp 🤣, would be fine with stock for a bit then go for 250 ish ? If i bring you the cars, How much would a base swap cost ? Thank you !

We didn't do the AWD swap, we bought it with it pretty much already done. There's a link here to the forum that shows all the progress - www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/243854-citigo-go-a-citigo-with-more-go/ It's not something we would do unfortunately, due to how busy we are and the costs in doing it

What a beast...couldnt really tell the speed of it when misha drove it last year at the ring, but showing the speedo there as you accelerate, jesus it shifts. Its not crazy torque levels plus obviously haldex keeps it in check, but a good balance of torque and power...guessing if you wanted youd get about 480ftlbs+ out of this engine/spec, but it just doesnt need it...awesome car showcasing everything you do in one package i reckon.

Its such a shame that most people go for numbers and not reliability/usability...these days with the emissions bullshit going on you guys are doing it correctly. Even in your balls out track cars! The engine and gearbox is a similar size to what we put this in. It is not a direct fit and will take quite a bit of custom work.

I know the car has gone now but how much did it weigh in the end? I imagine It put on a few 100kgs with the engine, 4wd and roll cage etc? Also how much does one of these cost to do? I know I can't afford it right now but maybe in the future, when the kids have buggered off lol!!

How much should it weight? Under 1.1 tons? I would daily drive the shit out of it (it is possible in the UK?) Here in Italy not even exhaust or air induction is possible, every one is doing it even engine swaps but it's very illegal, let alone roll cages etc ahah. I'm interested in the future Yaris gr but this is better 😂😂

@@LITTLEbigREG I sold my Fabia Monte Carlo just over a month ago. Only performance mod was a new turbo and a larger cold air intake. Before those it was doing 120bhp stock. I've now bought myself a mk7 golf r-line which is my first petrol in 4 years

I had a 1.9tdi ibiza fr about 10-12 years ago. Very quick for what it was. But mine went pop at 50k turbo, cat and injectors. 3 weeks out of warranty Seat in grimsby wanted 2.5k to fix it. Managed to get it done for about £1500 by them then turbo went again fmday I picked it up. Got it fixed again then got rid.

What a little beast! Why have you chosen a cr over a pd in this vehicle? What are benefits and downsides in terms of tuning compared to the pd? Kyle Budd I actually have a C220 cdi, but think its the same principe, I was thinking of buying a new intercooler and silicon air pipes. Already has a tune and the egr off, but might go turn the dpf off also. And thanks for the tip, I will check it out!
