Haha I actually always use video for all once-in-a-lifetime things like taking a selfie with a Japanese drummer that one time (his face was priceless when I never clicked anything and he realized it was a video, not a photo) or when I was waiting for Jackie Chan to pass by with dozens of fans around and did not want photos to be blurry. When you take a video the resolution is going to be lower and whatnot but you're definitely going to get at least a couple of good crisp snaps out of the video. I know you can take multiple photos in a quick succession too, but back in the day the phones were slower and even so there is still a risk they are going to be blurry. And for the purposes of IG the resolution there is so low anyway, it does not matter whether it's a photo or a snap from a video.
Life saving. For the longest I took my photo on my mirror then I HOPED my bf would help. He was a terrible photo taker. So now this I’m very pumped to get it done. Dropping my daughter off at the babysitter once every month to do this. I love it. 🥰🤘😌
Recording a video I believe is a really good tip, didn’t think much about it. I don’t like the live feature on iPhone, I feel it makes pictures look blah to me. This was super helpful because I don’t have a car LOL so thank you ❤️

I love the video idea! I always use my front cam even tho the pics don't look as good bc I can see what I'm doing, but if it's recording everything that'd be so much easier

i wouldnt do it either, but all he said was yo, you look good. I dont find that disrespectful at all, its just a compliment. I would comment on a girl if i thought her outfit looked nice and she was doing something like that in public. But its a whole other thing to say something derogatory or try to physically touch someone or use a pick-up line. Ive seen guys compliment girls in public about hair/outfit and most of them have said they wish it would happen more often tbh.
