I’ve been following you for about 7/8 years now. And I’ve seen your style change and although I probably fit more in between your old and new style- I can still appreciate that we all evolve and even when it looks different for each of us, it’s perfectly fine. I can’t afford most of the brands you love but honestly I love just dreaming of getting there some day and even if not, indulging vicariously through you.

I feel obligated to share this with you. Many times, I want to watch your video’s and I don’t. For some reason, I don’t want to like you. You are so so pretty, have a darling shape, adorable husband, beautiful home, and at times it annoys me. If I’m honest, it may very well be envy. Each and EVERY time I watch you, not only do I come away entertained, I come away not only liking you but also respecting you. When I hear you doubt yourself in this video it pains my heart for you. You are a beautiful, intelligent and lovely young lady. Don’t be afraid to own it. You’ve paid your dues and it’s OK to be happy. In my opinion most times you radiate happiness. You're talking to a fellow Fire Sign here, I get you 100%: the overthinking, what shopping really is to you and how it is a small part of your mood fixer routine, how criticism affects you, how hard it is to control the negativity in you, how easy it is to spiral back into it. The whole thing. My mom died last month, I tried to be a big girl about it but ended up at the cardiologist's with a full on panic attack. He told me I need to doll up, go outside, do some shopping, have a coffee with a friend etc etc. So today, your Leo friend from Greece spotted a 30% sale on Laura Mercier. So, I am going to dress up, go downtown, buy my tinted moisturiser, walk around the shops, spray myself with some expensive perfume I cannot afford, buy a cup of coffee and walk home from the port promenade. I'll enjoy the sun, I'll enjoy the sea, plus I'll buy a bouquet of freesias and Persian buttercups to fix my mood. It costs 5 euros. It will be a little over 10,000 steps, so exercise CHECK. It might sound pretentious to someone, but this is how I cope. I know that you need to cope too, so I get it!

To be fair, Lydia, I think you have a lot of viewers who can actually *afford* Zara as opposed to your Holland & Cooper hauls and that's why it would have been lovely to see it in a proper 'unboxing' video. It's also odd that you feel strange unboxing a cheaper brand but not luxury brands. I can't compute with that one.

You have come such a long way in the kitchen Lydia. I just remember when you got your step mum to make you nutritious Tupperware meals to heat up when you were consciously trying to eat better ahead of your wedding. And now look at you, a keen interest in trying so many more foods, cooking from scratch yourself, growing the ingredients, taking time to make a nutritious lunch, a desire to learn (sourdough classes)... the turnaround is amazing! I think your table is lovely and I choose to think the best of people until they prove me otherwise. What a fun story to have about Princess Diana in relation to your table. On the slim chance things aren’t precisely as told, you still have a great story and a beautiful table! 😍🥰😍 I know it’s not as fun as going to a class in person but there are loads of videos on RU-vid on how to create a sourdough starter, how to make the bread from a starter, as well as when and how to “feed” your starter to keep it going. In fact, I stumbled upon a video by “Becoming a Farm Girl” in my recommendations the other day and she had a video for making regular and gluten-free sourdough. Lots of choices to watch! 😊 I absolutely LOVE the Giambattista Valli bouclé jacket with the embroidery! It’s feels like there is a bit of a Chanel inspiration, which is always a good thing to me. The floral embroidery is a lovely touch! I can see you getting a lot of enjoyment from that beautiful jacket! I think it’s a very good purchase as long as you find opportunities to wear it and get that cost per wear where you want it! 😍🥰😘 Thank you for the lovely video! ☺️🥰😊

I think it's really important that you listen to your gut and re centering yourself is so important. I think I and probably others feel a change in the way your YourTube is heading eg gardening. To the people in the comment section who feel the need to say negative things: Lydia has been open to different opinions and discussions over the past year or so and she's responded kindly to critique, I myself commented recently on the wealth display but fortunately not in a critical way. However, when someone is saying I need a mental health break then for the love of all thats good keep the comments positive, be human, or feel free to shut up and move on. You don't kick someone when they're down, be a human being for a second and leave her alone.

Sorry to hear you have not been feeing so well. But you are only human. I was pleased the other vlog when u talked about how upset the feedback on Ali s video made you. It was truly honest and i think is good that you give back what you receive in the comments as well. You are not a doormat. I respect that. I have to mention Lydia, you became more successful even if the industry tried to ostracise you and the haters to cancel you many times. Hope you realise that you have an amazing husband, that is successful on his own and not a parasite munching on you as most others have in your industry, that alone probably gets you a lot of hate and envy, a beautiful home, you are young, beautiful and healthy and not put to heart the horrible comments.

Dear lydia I also notices that you have changed the last month. You are so 'nervous' during your vlogs. Like you are not in the middle of yourself. You were sooo mich balanced during lockdown. You had so much diffrent preferences and I think this traveling, shopping, to be at this event and here makes you empty inside of your soul. Because these are all thins that have no deep sense or soul. It is just superficial and you can loos your ground. I think the gap between this superficial vlogging industry and a solid life is sometimes difficult to handle. Take care of yourself, not that you fall back in depression and anxiety! All the best for you❤
