@@juliaj7939 The oldest metro in the world are the London Underground, they don't look like what I've seen in NYC, Paris, and Barcelona. Therefore I have a right to complain.
Awsome video...remembering beautiful sounds of dubai metro, announcements in Arabic and English, its starting and stopping background sounds. Thanks...
I really miss Dubai Metro rides...one of my favorite things to do when I was in Dubai...and there's a couple of changes too...Al Safa was Noorbank st, Umm Al Sheif was FGB st and Mashreq was Sharaf DG st and Al Khail st was Nakheel Harbor and Tower st I guess and wait Dubai Marina was DAMAC Properties and they change again to Dubai Marina
The metro in dubai is amazing... Safe, extremely clean, friendly people, it smells nice, nice views, above ground, cheap ... I have never been in such an amazing metro, it was always a plaisure taking the metro in Dubai, at every hour of the day! Weird if you compare it with metro's in so many "modern" country's...
The amount of info you've provided is really staggering! We will be transiting through Dubai in November for three days. First, I realized the city was large, you really captured HOW large! You've provided dress codes for two adults. I have to research the Gold Pass for transportation. I am so happy the UAE has come to its geo-political senses in recent years, and that we can partake of the country's cultural offerings with a lot less anxiety. Thank you for this really great posting!
A estação de metrô parece um shopping, o shopping parece um terminal gigante de aeroporto, o aeroporto deve parecer uma estação de nave espacial, só pode.
Fun fact, the Dubai metro trains are fully autonomous, meaning there is no driver driving the trains, that really does show you how advanced the Dubai metro is compared to other cities in the world
IDK it looks WAAAY similar to our Metro System in Singapore. Hahaha I always tell people ours the best!! Escalators everywhere vs Japan and Taipei which does not have Escalators at every exit. Hahaha
@@ce1834 I beg to differ. My legs got tired walking in Tokyo Metro. Singapore metro even has travelators on interchanges to make transferring quick. See how pampered we people are. Hahaha
Amigos de C.O.P. Muchas gracias por compartir y mostrarnos la belleza de DUBAI. En mero desierto y en menos de un siglo hicieron una gran e inmensa urbe. Es admirable y portentoso tal progreso y desarrollo.
They authorities can be sensitive about photography here. Last night I put my DSLR camera on a tripod and photographed the outside of Al Jaddaf Station as it lit up in the evening. The duty police officer came out and questioned what I was doing, who I was and why I was there. He said not allowed but I may continue! I would advise visitors to be a bit careful about taking pictures here. the previous night I was questioned when photographing outside the Burj Kalifa tower!
One station by this train = 15 minutes (1 minute travel + 2 x 7 minutes walking down and up). One station by your feet = 5-10 minutes walking. Riding this train is only time-efficient when you enter at the beginning and jump off at the end or when you are riding 2 or more stops.
Every time I see walking or driving tours of Dubai on RU-vid from different people, Dubai is always empty. Is Dubai always this empty or is there a time of the year that it has a lot of people? I'm bringing a group for a couple weeks to Dubai for work and these tours are so very helpful. Thank you!
A RTA person will randomly come to check your card with a machine. If you don’t have the gold class ticket then there would be a fine. Thanks for watching 😊
Thanks for the video. Just wondering, would it be quicker if taking metro to DMCC station, and then take the Tram from DMCC to Marina Mall for just one stop? thanks
