I am such an awe of how smart some of you are! I can't even imagine getting a 155 on this test. I am JUST beginning my prep and it's not a solely knowledge-based test as I am clearly discovering. It's trickery :) Thanks for this video! So helpful
I have to write GRE from home on 14 December but my ETS name and passport name matches but it does not match with proctoru name will that be a big problem while taking the test
Hello! That is a great question and you should confirm it with ETS because they do have strict rules on identification (I can only imagine this being even more important with the exam being from home). Here is the site link for customer support: www.ets.org/gre/contact Good luck on the exam :-)
My computer froze during the 3rd section & shut down. I called the proctor service. They took over my computer & picked it up in that section & let me finish (approx. 15 minutes for that section--I had about 1/3 of the problems left). However, when my score came, the quantitative was lower than expected. When I checked the GRE answers that came with the score, I noticed that the last 7 answers were wrong on my first math section. I wonder if this was the section where the computer shut down. Although they gave me the time to finish it, I wonder if they actually graded those last 7 questions or just marked them wrong due to them being blank when the computer crashed. I am questioning those results. We'll see.
@@abrarulkarim9627 After about 25-30 minutes of the tech person taking over my computer, they did get me restarted & gave time to finish. At that point, you tend to become a little flustered though. Also, I was unable to contact the proctor in case of any additional problems or questions.
Hey I also disconnected during the middle of a verbal section(the 1st one, pretty sure it was not experimental) and it did not affect my score in anyway
I disconnected during the half way mark with like 13 questions remaining, there is no way I could've gotten they score I got if the didn't count those 13 questions
Hey! I had given my GRE at home about a month back and still haven't received my official scores. Has anyone received the official scores after GRE at home? If so, after how many days?
@@boganilifestyle unofficial score (V, Q) appears directly after the test on-screen (it is the same as the official score). The official score report (including AWA) came in about 9 days after the test
Hi! Can be I able to skip questions and return in the end if I have time? How I understood, I need to enter my protoctor U account and then the examinator calls me. After that I open my ETS program? Where should I get ID and password for ETS? And how the test questions appear? Are they appear in the browser, protoctor U website (in my account)? Thank you for the answers, in advanced
Hi guys! I just took a GRE practice test to see where I stand. My scores are very disappointing which terrified me of the test. I scored 131V 132Q. I am so discouraged and disappointed. I need that good looking score 155V 155Q and I don’t see possible from where I stand now. My goal is to prepare for 3 to 4 months. Does anyone have an experience and can share some tips. I indeed need it.
Hey dont feel tensed, you wrote that test without knowing anything so it's fine if you score less. Try and finish all of the videos on magoosh and practice problems everyday(especially quant) which helps you get a better score. The GRE is a piece of cake, just break it down into bits and I'm sure you'll do well!
YESS. I spoke with them after seeing that they updated which computers could be used and they said that apple computers can be used as long as the OS system is 10.13 or higher
