From my childhood window you could see the wind turbines across the border in Germany even though that was at least 10 miles away, because that's how flat it was! Thanks for your advice, Bonnie. Bonnie, let yourself feel all the feelings. You are not alone. Mice settled in our house while we were away too. Countless loads of laundry, dishes, wiping down all the surfaces. We even had to repaint the pantry, as the mice got into all the food that wasn't in mason jars. You will get through this! Sending you love and support.🙏🏻🩵🌺

It really is sad that the rude people online were not talk respect and manners as kids. I see it all over in the world today and worse than ever. We were talk respect and not to make fun of others or bully others growing up. You do have to be strong and have a mind of your own and not let what others say bother you. People will always talk, let them. They'll have to answer for what they did one day. They should watch what they say about others, because it tends to come back at them one day. Bonnie I too wash the sneakers, I use an old tooth brush, "Fels Napa" bar soap, works so much faster than what you are using...less work for you...I love it. I dampen the brush , rub it in the soap, scrub the shoe, wipe off with paper towel. New looking shoes!

Bonnie..... you can use a Dr. Scholls wart freezer kit on your cold sore. Do it once a day for 3 days for as much as you can stand it and it will burn the nerve endings and once it heals it will not come back! Good luck. I learned this from a gyn i wirked for.

I get cold sores too and Valtrex works great! Take when you first feel cold sore coming on and it’s gone in a couple days! I hate mice and I feel for ya on that one. Hang in there!

Bonnie, I wish I could send shells kfor the kids because when I was in Pensacola, FL years ago, I collected so may and I still have them all. I have a lot of teeny tiny ones too. I also have sand dollars a beach down south. I used some to make a collage to hang in my bathroom back years ago. It was so much fun and your kids could do it for their bedrooms. I got a large frame (any size would do} bur it has to be a shadow box one, and cut pieces of pretty wallpaper that I had into squares according to the size of shell I wanted to put on it then glued them all to the backing of the shadowbox on the cardboard. I got so many compliments on it. If I can come up with a way to send the shells, I will do that. You may end up with a box of shell chips. HA HA I have already broken a couple of the sand dollars open too and used the birds inside to do things. I love doing things like this. Keeps your imagination in tact. 😄

I get cold sores I got them so bad as a kid I needed a prescription for it, cause it was so bad, now that I'm 30, I get them like 2 times a year usually one in fall and one in winter. ur not alone, they suck, amd who ever makes fun, doesn't get them. they should get at least one to know how we feel, try abreva, I use it and mines gone in like 5 days 😅

By the time this is posted, I’m sure the mice mess has been vacuumed and cleaned. But a wise therapist once told me when I’m too overwhelmed to do one task. Which could be to wash the bedding in the house, or vacuum one room. If I accomplish that and don’t have any other energy, celebrate that accomplishment. If I feel good and WANT to do another task, do it, then evaluate how I feel, but acknowledge the accomplishment. Don’t feel embarrassed about the mice. You live in a rural area. That where mice live. Once this gets fixed, Joel will know share on his channel how to close a house properly, and I will be watching to learn how to close our cottage (which is a house in the country). This will pass. Take some time to close your eyes and take deep breaths. Your Apple Watch has the app and it’s awesome.❤

When I was diagnosed with Crohns Disease, my dad told me to never be embarrassed or ashamed because everyone’s got something going on in their life that they don’t want people to know about or are embarrassed of and if they want to make fun of you for your issues then it just means they are deflecting from their issues. As a kid our house was surrounded by Cornfields in Indiana. Mice LOVED our warm house. There was not much we can do about it. You live on a beautiful properity and it used to be a field. I would get outdoor and indoor cats.

Oh WOW! I had no clue we could take our kids out of school for 4 months and then return at the end of the school year. How does that even work? Schools are wrapping it up in May for summer vacation! Summer here we come!!

Bonnie I’m sure your doctor has given you multiple ideas as far as prescription pills or OTC lysine - those are things that have helped people I know as well as icing the spot when you feel it coming on three times a day.

I hope my daughter grows up and is like Olivia! She is so nice, caring and oh so pretty! My daughter is beautiful already but I can't wait to see who she becomes!
