@@hannahrosewalz9386 To be fair, I'd say the main idea to go with would be chemistry, but that is SO subjective. I'll never forget a Persona 4 discussion I was in once where the other dude didn't seem to pick up on the idea that Kanji and Naoto had a crush on each other. If you're not familiar, Kanji's crush on Naoto is an entire plot point because Naoto dresses like a guy so he spends a lot of the game questioning his sexuality over her. My point being: if you see chemistry unmistakably between two characters, good luck trying to explain that to someone that doesn't see it.

my idea for the fanfic. I REGET NOTHING The entire story follows sunburst as he travels around Equestria making new friends, but thanks to being socially awkward, and as silver put it a 'harem protagonist' to dense to tell that they are flirting with him, leading to letters he can tell have a hidden meaning but can't figure out what it is plus lewd pictures in the letters aswell leading to sunburst believing that flank pictures are a type of greetings in mail. Slide in some sunbut and moonbut and we are golden.

​@@hannahrosewalz9386 Nope, Starswirl made the spell because it was the same one Twilight used to tried to go back in time to warn herself not to worry. Starlight just stripped off the limiters that restricted how far back you could go with it.

@@jlan7844 Starlight did more than that. One of the main reasons I have a problem with it (still liked the episode) was that it is a *fundamentally* different kind of time travel. Starswirl's spell brought you back a very short amount of time, and more importantly, as Twilight discovered, it only creates self-fulfilling loops. It CANNOT make branch universes. I'm just fine with branch-style time travel stories, but MLP already had established time travel lore. And I know Starswirl helped create the Tree, but even he had no idea about the Map. So why did she need to use the Map (which, btw, seemed to be the only thing holding the timelines together still). Time travel is a tricky business at the best of times. I think they backed themselves into a corner with "It's About Time" and just decided to handwave an explanation that vaguely made sense.

@@allenholloway5109 I think it makes perfect sense, once you realize what Starlight's special talent is: Destiny. Basically, there are three very powerful unicorns we've seen so far: Twilight, Sunset and Starlight. I'm including Sunset here because, well, when she put on the Element of Magic in the first EQG movie, it responded to her. I think her special talent is something like Conversion, most likely from light to dark (and vice versa). This would explain why the crown reacted the way it did: It was turned into a force of darkness by Sunset's innate magic. I think the Tree of Harmony had some influence in those three being born. According to my theory, it made Sunset so she converts any threats towards Equestria into allies, but she turned evil. It then made Starlight to change the destinies of those that would threaten Equestria, but she turned evil. Then, the tree made Twilight and gave her a stronger connection to itself, basically serving as a mini-version of itself, in the hopes that she learns the importance of friendship and teaches the previous two attempts, aka Sunset and Starlight, thus bringing them back on their intended track. Starlight can change ponies' destinies, most notably in the form of their cutie marks, seemingly without problem. Combined with a time travel spell, and a map that is connected to a tree that is the manifestation of the very essence of Equestria, it would make less sense if Starlight couldn't go to any point in Equestria's history and change how things play out. Though, to be fair, she "just" went back about a decade or so, and the tree had been around for over a millennium, so maybe she can't go back to before the tree in its current form existed. The tree, as a manifestation of the magic of friendship, has been shown to grow and develop, so it'd make sense that it could influence how things happen in Equestria. It's a demigod-like entity that can craft ponies to play certain roles in order to keep itself alive.

Did you go to that event with the friend or just meet up there?

@@leocruz1688 Went with that person. Traveling there ended up being the best part sadly and this person invited me to that event too. So to be invited and not be able to spend that much time with this person really hurt. Plus the event didn't have enough things to do for me to fully enjoy myself because it was small. I have a hard time connecting with people too so I was bored and lonely most of the time.

In the Crystal empire intro episode, when the mane 6 leave the empire, they lose their glow. I admit I'm now struggling to remember if we've seen Crystal ponies outside of the Crystal Empire. I mean in terms of the crystal look. If we did, then we can assume those ponies have been affected by the heart for so long, that the effect retains outside the barrier for at least an extended time. Otherwise, the 4 ponies we know who have spent significant time there are Sunburst, Cadence, Shining Armor, and Flurry Heart. All of which have not picked up this trait, implying that the glow is partly related to the crystaling itself, and partly related to extended exposure over a much longer time period. If we havn't seen the glow outside, then either those ponies have not moved or that it does end with the barrior.

@@sykeassai well all four of them came into the empire after it returned, (since sunburst and starlight were foals together and she is no where near as old as sombra's curse) so maybe they haven't had enough time to properly absorb the crystal ness?

It is canon (within the Firebrand/SilverQuill/DoctorWolf shared subgroup of "The Rift" ), that both Silver Quill & Aeon of Dreams are actually "Cosmic Monstrosities": Silver is more leaning on the "demon soul reincarnated as a mortal" (that just happens to be a hippogriff with pidgeon ancestors); nicknamed the "Anti-Celestia". Aeon is an actual "Eldritch Horror" that just _chooses_ to mantain a form "your eyes can understand". Silver ocasionally uses his "demon alternate form" for comedy porpouses, while Aeon always _implies_ about it (as actually showing his "true self" would made somepony permanently mad) whenever he is "getting serious" [the equivalent of Hannibal Lecter sharpening a knife]. A skyscraper_sized, casual pony_eating lady dragon is Silver Quill´s girlfriend. She got confused about their relationship once, after she found him temporary transformed into an earth pony version of himself ("Cluttersteps"); implying that he usually does _unspeakable things_ alongside her as part of their "dates" [that would get awckward if he did not managed to fix his situation].

Without saying a word, she realizes that even her own father doesn't fully trust her. And in her scizophrenic state, she's struggling to accept that her own mother didn't actually hate her or fear her even if she thought she did.
