Hartpury is literally my dream !! I would LOVE to come sooo bad it’s one of my biggest goals actually 🙈 I would rlly like to study the Animal Science with Therapy course and I honestly look up to you and cleck so much !! I love watching your journey and can’t wait to see where you both go 🤩🥰
Hello, I’m coming to Hartpury in September to study equine veterinary nursing. I’m just wondering if you could do a campus/accommodation tour and talk about tips for starting and settling into university 😊 xx
I really want to go to hartpury but im not interested in working on my riding career. I know that they do equine science and vet nurse degrees, but i want to work hard and work in equine reproduction. Its on my list of uni's though xx
Do you have some kind of job or do you just focus on uni and cleck? I know some people want to work to help pay and not have their parents pay everything that's why I'm asking
Yay good for you! Hope you enjoy it, what year are you going?? (Also maybe if you are writing letters make sure to spell the school correctly it is, Hartpury ahah)
Now that u said ur german ur little accent makes way more sense to me haha I've always wondered where you're from bc I live in germany too (I'm American) and I recognize this accent everywhere
Hi, I have spent hours and hours on their website looking at everything as i would love to go here one day so i know my way around their website. Here is the prices for their dorm rooms- www.hartpury.ac.uk/media/6318/fe_accommodation_2020-21_final-2.pdf This is the prices for their livery accommodation- www.hartpury.ac.uk/university/forms/livery-application-form/ If you would like me to send you any other links then i am more than happy to help!
hartpury seems like a dream! but i really don’t wanna make any plans rn since i have many years before i would go to uni anyways; definitely an option for me tho!
How can you afford the fees for Hartpury? If that's too personal, then what would you recommend in order to be able to afford them, especially if someone's parents aren't rich and won't pay for it.
Yeah, that’s what I’m worried about, i don’t know how I’d be able to support a horse whilst living there (horses are the one thing my parents have no idea about)! I’m also worried about having to bring the horse home every holiday since I live very far away lol
it’ll be a while before I can go to uni lol but I know my parents will help with the education but I just don’t know how I could afford to take a horse there! I could get a job obvs but I do not live nearby so that could be difficult! I would also have to persuade my parents to get a horse trailer as I live so far away, the cost of hiring a trailer each time would be crazy!
@@issytheidiot7535 My parents would never pay for education since I could just as well go somewhere where it's free. Plus a horse coming on top of that where we've also got the agreement that I need to be able to afford it all by myself before I buy one.
@@BlissLewellyn yes, I’m not allowed a horse till I can drive and get a job! I have ridden for over 10 years now but I totally understand where my parents are coming from! If you try hard enough, you can achieve your dreams xxx
I watch every single video you made! I love your videos soo much! I am in the US and it’s my dream to go to hartpury, but i don’t want to leave my dogs and family:( It’s also super expensive i wish i could afford it and it was much closer!
I am gonna go there😁 I would live to know what course you need to do for show jummping I would love to see you in the Dublin hotse show I go there every year
But a lot of pro rider won’t hire people that come from college like hartpury because they don’t have the hands on expectations with real competition horse i know lots of rider that won’t hire people that have come from a collages x
Hi! i have spent many hours on their website so i know my way around! here is the prices for the livery for the year: www.hartpury.ac.uk/university/forms/livery-application-form/ If you have anymore questions, i am here to help :)
Do you think someone that it's not rich and lives in another country would be able to afford Hartpury by themselves? My dream is to go to that Uni, but my parents can't pay it for me. Is it possible to keep a job while studying and caring for your horse?

I know that Hartpury has a veterinary nursing course but do they have courses for being like a normal vet? Idk if they are the same thing or not 😅. I really don’t like school and I don’t want to go to uni but I want to be a vet and so I need to and I definitely want to go to Hartpury for uni.i would love to bring my own horse but I wouldn’t want to do like top training. I would just want to have a horse there to ride and train and be good at riding and do some shows. So idk if you can have a horse there if you don’t want to become a top rider. Also another thing, how do you afford to keep cleck and stuff, do you pay yourself or does your family pay?
Every week you get given a certain amount of bedding (there is 2 options to choose from) each week (if you would like i can tell you what the type of options are and how many you get.). But the feed you have to pay for that yourself however, if you pay through the school the prices are cheaper. Hartpury is sponsored by baileys horse feed so that is the only feed that you can buy through the school with a discount! i have been on the website for many, many hours so i know my way around. If you have any more questions i am here to help! This is the link to the Campus Horse feed shop! (there also is the price for the extra bedding here) estore.hartpury.ac.uk/product-catalogue/equine-sundries/horse-feed
Yes you can go if you don't know how to ride but you can not do the equine bit however, you can loan horses and take lessons! (Also it is Hartpury not hartbury!)
Did you do any igcses Or a levels in order to get accepted Or What were the criteria? What if I want to study there with my horse, but I dont want to compete? And can I do veterinary nursing and have my horse there, Or do I have to study the equine courses in order to have my horse with me..
From my personal experience u just get used to it and it will go away, it’s bc u use certain muscles when riding horses which u don’t usually use when walking. Hope this kinda helped
