Olympic Silver-Bronze, 3xWorld Gold Haji Aliyev of Azerbaijan has been ear snapping to a single leg for nearly a decade. In fact he did it to World Gold, eventual Olympic Gold Takuto Otoguro at the 2019 World Championships (clip included).
Ironically, Otoguro did the same ear snap to Aliyev himself at the Olympics in the last 25 seconds to win gold (clip included).
I breakdown both techniques with one of my college students Earl Blake. Otoguro has a slight variation of Aliyev's original ear snap, however both are extremely effective ways to get to the leg and the same principles apply.
