Good video for the beginners. The only drawback is that the trainer is very fast. But that also shows he is an expert :-). Looking forward for more videos.

I was trying this with Excel as input file. I gives me an error saying "parameter must have atleast one value", my input file has valid data. Could you please help ?
Hey Abhishek, There must be some mapping issue, bcz of which Talend is unable to read the data. You can try by creating a excel schema in the repository and then using the ExcelInputFile. Hope this helps!
Yes you can, with the following steps: Right click on the database you want to copy. 'Tasks' > 'Export Data' Click on Next, then again Next. Choose the database to copy the tables to. Mark 'Copy data from one or more tables or views' Choose the tables you want to copy. Finish. Hope that helps!

Thank you for the video. We have header in Product Output file but not in Product Reject file. How to handle header's and footer's in output and Reject files.
You can handle the headers and footers from the file input/output components in Talend. When you double click on the file input components, in the component tab itself you will find a check box where you can specify the number of lines covering headers and footers in your data set. Same goes for the output components, where you can specify whether you want to add them in your output file. Hope this helps :)

Thanks for the Video. Here we created the schema for output i.e. products_out and products_reject. But how did we assign these schema to the output tfileoutddelimeted component?
Hey Abhishek, "products_out and products_reject both are the names of the links which are connecting the output tfileoutddelimited components. Thus the schema described for the links will be automatically propagated to the respective output components. Hope this helps!"
