Dreamcatcher were asked several times about LGBTQIA+ community and they say they support all types of love. There are plenty of fanaccs about it, including a very heartwarming one in which Gahyeon tells a transgender fan they should live their live however they want to because its their life. They are all very sweet and genuine. Their bond is seriously so so strong. They live together and work together and still chooses to go out on vacation together sometimes (its not rare to hear some of the members went to each others home during a schedule break or went out to a trip together, or to an amusement park). It's very very endearing to see. I think the best way to understand their bond quickly is to watch Dreamcatcher Mind episodes. There are 10 episodes, each of 20 minutes or less. You can also watch the recent dreamcatcher's note of the days they got their two wins. There is a fan channel in youtube called insomicsy, they post funny compiliations and some vlive content eng subbed (usually insomnicsy would translate the highlights of the recent vlive). If you want to dive more into their professional side, i'd suggest an album listen, specially their newest one, Apocalypse: Save Us. Each member has solo song that they helped to compose and write. Last year (2023) when they promoting Bon Voyage at Inkigayo Siyeon was wearing Pride Chucks during their live performance. Also the photo shoot where Yoohyeon was wearing the trans pin was all the way back in 2018, so it's they didn't wait until they were famous enough for it to be "less risky" to be supportive. Oh, and that clip where Yoohyeon says that she likes "hardworking people", not "hardworking men" was actually censored in the translation on Nadol's page. Everything else is translated into English, but this particular answer wasn't translated. It's sad that not only does the culture try to silence idols from voicing their support--when they do anyway they might get censored (I dunno if it's fansub or the channel themselves who made the translation though) or stopped (like Siyeon & SuA's "of course" game).

Fun fact : JIU wrote a song called "ALL DAY LONG" which JIU got inspired from YOOHYEON. JIU had a hard time YOOHYEON came and hug her, while comforting her. Then JIU got an idea of the song lyrics from that hug from Yoohyeon.

Yeah the this is series is amazing. It made getting to know Dreamcatcher so much easier. I wish Everglow & Purple Kiss had a fan like Insomnicsy, trying to learn about their members feels like homework
More info... The 'This is...' series is a series of short videos (about 7 minutes long) that highlight each individual member. There are 15 in total. 2 for each member, a 2020 version and a 2021 version for each, and one for the group as a whole. They were created by Insomnicsy (Dreamcatcher's unofficial global PR representative). These videos, as well a TON of other great DC related videos, are available on Insomnicsy's RU-vid channel. I tried to paste a link but it kept screwing up. I'm sure you can find it. But, yeah, if you want to put names to faces, this is probably your best resource. As I said, each video (minus the group vid) is focused on a single member which will help you identify that member. All you have to do is remember who's video you're watching.
I would recommend checking out their self made mvs (particularly Sahara, Break the Wall, and Poison Love!) Those are always super fun reactions to see and it gives you a chance to hear more of their music and experience their goofy personalities at the same time! If you want some fun videos, basically every video from insomnicsy's channel is great! Also when you asked if Handong and Gahyeon were the same age, no they are not - theres like a 3ish year gap! They are roommates though and the two that weren't part of minx, so that could be why they're so close?!? To be fair though, all of the members seem to have close relationships with one another and get along extremely well (at least from a fan's perspective.) My recomendation, DC have too many title tracks MV/special clip MV/cover. Maybe u can start with Nightmare series (interesting storyline) or game ost. But, u should react to our main force in yt, insomnicsy channel. The channel have many well known series to get know more about DC such as "This is ... " series. Its have 2 season, 2020 and 2021 ver. Also the "introduce to ..." series. The channel is famous among InSomnias as some act like it is an another official channel for DC. And ofc the main reason is the DC members themselve react to the channel ✌️.
