I think ToD has one of the best character developments (specially in the remake), though the plot was just a mix of save-the-world with IHAVEATALKINGSWORDBITCHAS
He was forced to kill the party in order to save the one he loves....he even was willing to kill his own sister for it....I feel bad for him....but Stahn is still the best tales character ever
Now it's cleared, Rutee was saved by Chris during Hugo became insane (possessed by Kronos/Miktran. Leon/Emilio was doesn't know his older sister, Rutee was escaped by their father's inanity with their mother, Chris Katrea. While Emilio/Leon still a little kids (Chris have Atwight & before Chris was dead during heavily wound by Hugo-Miktran/Kronos, she's asking Atwight for take care Rutee (that's why, Atwight Eks have Mother/Older Sister Figure for Rutee for whole her life) & Chris is death at Cresta's Orphanage) The final sad are: first, Rutee lost her mother, her younger brother & last, her father, Hugo (she's crying as she's said: "Father... FATHER!!!!")
@LiquidSnack yeah, I know. I thought this was English patch, but it turned out to be the real thing when I went to the nearest gamestore selling classic PS1 games.(because I have the JPN version when I first bought the PS1)
leon was so easy to beat in this battle...although the way i did it wasn't really professional, i just pushed him to the edge of the screen and spammed him with all of my X button attacks.
If Leon did go with hugo instead of waiting around in the cave, maybe he would still be alive.... maybe. but leon for some reason had to stop.... I may be mistaken.... but unless hugo said wait at that spot before this scene, leon had no reason to stop at all..... should of kept on walking. But NO.....
Uh... yes he is. he was brought back by Elraine and threw away his name and got the name Judas from kyle. Then they save the world which in turn erases everything that happened, including him being brought back to life.
ToD's editor sucked. When Leon says "the oldest daughter," it implies that there were at least two other daughters in addition to Rutee. Unless, of course, there are Rutee/Leon lookalikes that we just don't know about~
I guess your right. it is just Hugo didn't say anything until after leon stopped walking. leon... poor sap.... of well.... his death wasn't that sad.... the batter was more sad then that and you showed it here it's too easy.
There are a few more inconsistencies Leon: "I am Hugo´s son" Stahn: "What!?" Wasnt that already known from the beggining? Either that or the PSX ommited to mention they were father and son. Then... "I´ll my parents, brothers, or sisters to protect what´s important to me!" Well hello, you let Marian go by your own father´s hand :D At a side note... at 3:09 WHY DOES PHILIA COVER HER EARS O_O
this cutscene is totally different from the one in the PS2, here leon doens't save Stan and the others, they escape by their own, but in the PS2 he saves them... but well it was sad either way,, i really liked leon.
