It is featured in India’s top 30 bars, earning the title of one of the most famous bars in Goa. And it has taken the name of Fontainhas, the Latin Quarter of Goa, to a whole new level.
They have won the Best Bartender of India Award, where their jolly bartender, Gundu, 73, welcomes each guest with a smile on his face.
Joseph Bar has come a long way from being a small tavern to leading the fight for promoting local goan alcohol. Tambde Rosa and Mango Chilli are some of the best local in-house feni cocktails made by Gundu and his team at Joseph Bar. Tambde Rosa draws inspiration from a ‘Red Rose’, which is the name of the drink. And don’t miss out on some scrumptious Goan cuisine while you are visiting it.
