I love it how they keep his jacket's texture flat (no perspective correction). =P As Guybrush would say: trippy.

The funny thing is that the plaid pattern on his clothes is in screen-space even here!!! I ROFL'd so much when I saw that...

Even without the nudity, that would be a hard sell. People hire lawyers specifically to help them hide things.

Stan might be known for the unmoving plaid on his jacket and his wild hand motions, but both these things look ugly as hell in 3D. In a good way, I guess.

@pbunyan568 Murray was absolutely amazing in this game, like full blast. I couldn't stop laughing anything he would say! Stan could use a bit more flailing but he was still funny. Court was good.

Is it just me or does the pattern on Stan's jacket remain in that one fixed position no matter how he moves?

What I don't get is, they got the guy from Curse to come do the voice for both Monkey SE and Monkey 2 SE. So why couldn't they get him for this?

@EmilioIsMyName Well, they also did managed to get back Earl Boen (not for Chapter 1, sadly) and Denny Delk for LeChuck and Murray. Guess Pat Pinney was busy at the time. I noticed that they also did recasted the Voodoo Lady.

He's not as spazy as he's usually is.

They used the same voice actor in The Curse of Monkey Island and The Secret of Monkey Island : Special Edition but they didnt use him on this game? But well at least he's still the Stan.

One of my favorite things about MI is screwing Stan over.

@pbunyan568 He's a bit more wavy in the courtyard (loved him as a lawyer). The scene where D'Oro mentions a man in a plaid jacket (no guesses who that is) and him trying to shift the discussion was pure old Stan.

I don't get it... why does Stan have the same voice in special editions, but not in tales of mi as well

ok, I read the comments and I noticed that I'm not the only one not getting stan's sudden voice change, and what's with the lines? stan never seemed to know your name, nor did he ever talked about anything else than what he's selling

@LarryArtFx Its a shame, stan's voiceover here sucked tbh, he needs a deeper voice :P they got the original voice actor for the remake of LeChucks revenge though, unless thats someone else.. if so, he does a great job too ^_^

I totally agree. Once I got over seeing him again, his performance was a little lackluster. Unlike Murray who stole the show last episode Stan sucked.

Sorry but this voice actor SUCKS as Stan! Patrick Pinney or Patrick Fraley should have done the part. Patrick Pinney did Curse of Monkey Island and the special editions of Monkey Island which were made about the same time as this so why didn't they use him? Although I still think Patrick Fraley is my favorite from Escape from Monkey Island. This new guy couldn't even bother to try emulating the voice acting style that is Stan? Totally unprofessional in my opinion. Research the character you're voicing and if you can't at least emulate a good portion of the old voice actors, utilize your own style that's as equally expressive. This one is just completely dull. Complete disservice to the series.
