That creature was Rukh. The same one that appeared in Rebels. That wasn't Yularen but Capt. Palleon. Thrawn's second in command. He appeared in The Mandalorian season 3.
Man seeing Genaral Grievous Matthew Wood return was just a Crazy reminder that Dothomir really got shafted 🔥 And Man I always love getting more of Dian Anasonto God Daughter of Bruce Lee ☯️🐉💚 And how she went down her Path leading into Mandoloran season 2 Brilliant🤘 Great reaction and review as always Shane Zack Matt 💯
14:53 It ended like that because the intent was to lead you into The Mandalorian season 2. That was Bo-Katan that answered the distress call. She relays the message to Ahsoka, which is why Ahsoka is there. Bo-Katan tells Din Jarin where he can find Ahsoka.
Shane, Zakk, AND MATT(!), it's good to see you 3 reacting to SW again. Yes, this version of Grievous was excellent...We only seemed to get this rendition in The Clone Wars a handful of times ("Lair Of Grievous" was my favorite, along w/ the attack on Dathomir). Notice how, through Darth Sidious' machinations, Morgan Elsbeth never became aware that it was the very Empire she served, that destroyed her people and culture. I wonder if, over the decade-and-a-half, Thrawn figured out that The Emperor was a Dark Lord Of The Sith and the orchestrator of The Clone Wars and the conflicts between The Republic and The Separatists? It would certainly color his ideas for constructing The Remnant Empire. I wonder what he thinks of someone like Moff Gideon? May The Force Be With You...
I don't like these episodes as much as Tales of The Jedi and I really wanted to. But when it comes to this I think they showed too much. Loved the Barris episodes tho, but when it comes to Morgan there's no much big surprise here, or anything really exciting, if you've seen the trailers you've seen everything. Still want more of these tales. The lenght of these episodes is what trully annoys me. Clone Wars, Rebels and The Bad Batch were so satisfying. I want Star Wars animation to last as long as X-MEN 97 to be honest, like 30 minutes or more.
Rukh is assasin and he was in Thrawn' books old and new. I like that we revisit this place from Mandalorian and I like details, for example in Mandalorian there was Asian guy in this town where Morgan ruled.
I feel like if you binge watch this and then you go into the mandalorian season 2 THE JEDI episode and carry on with the Ahsoka show it's cool. But this show doesn't stand well on it's own without the rest. At least for this arc.
It's so good to see Grievous and the Separatist battle droids in that animation! Also it's cool to see the other witches of Dathomir; it's like in the Legends/EU continuity, not all of the clans were dark siders and even the the Nightsisters weren't the only dark sider clan, but they were one the most powerful for sure.
