In JRPG and anime circles, that's practically senior citizen status. The height of power in these games are ten - early teens. Yuri and Judith are already kind of pushing it by being late teens - early twenties (I don't know their actual age but judging by their behaviour, voice etc. they seem close to, if not over 20)
Yuri's confirmed to be 21 (he tells Karol in a skit at the beginning of the game (Halure) that there's "21 years' worth of stuff"), and Judith seems to be 19 (they mention at Mt. Temza that she would've been 9 during the Great War, 10 years ago). I haven't seen anything to say how old Karol and Patty are, but Rita is 15 and Estelle is 18 (also confirmed in a skit at the beginning of the game). I'm not certain how old Flynn is, but it seems like a safe bet to assume he's 21, like Yuri.
@@nevasarini I believe they say karol is 12 when they take that nam quiz on the minigame island. A google search says that Patty's is 14, but I havent seen anything in game to verify that. I would imagine her actual age to be somewhere in the 40s-50s if you include the deaging plot twist.
Japan is freaking weird being into borderline pedophilia over there. They have one of the longest lifespans but only 10% of your life is maturity then that's it, you're an undesirable senior. Even when you aren't even at 30% of the average lifespan.
All of Estelle’s high fives are very fulfilling! Especially since she just learned it at the beginning. She’s just so excited to use the “sign on victory!”

Everyone is always talking about how Repede hates Estelle (and theorizing that it's because of her lineage) but nobody ever talks about how further into the game Repede accepts Estelle.
Repede doesn't hate Estelle. He just sees her as an escort in the beginning. Plus Estelle treats him as a pet, which Repede doesn't like. He wants to be treated as a human, which Estelle later on does and Repede does warm up to her. Granted, I only played through the 360 version (the version that doesn't have Patty) so I don't know how different the definitive version is.
Even in an HD remaster, i still gotta do this re-comment from the previous Vesperia victory quote. Estelle: Our weapons are love! Yuri: Justice! Raven: *Sexualityyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!* Rita: Would you stop?! Karol: Victory Pose! Judith: Hey, you too. Rita: OH *HELL* NO!~ Other than that, it's nice to see Flynn and Patty's victory quotes remastered in english. Any victory quote with everyone else, aside from Karol and Repede, are my favorites. And me saying something like that is like me throwing them under a bus. I don't hate them, but I don't know how to explain it. Also, *SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTH* SAILING!~ Man, I love Patty.
@@jorntumrongwit9056 Indeed. The 360 version was definitely released incomplete. You could see remnants of stuff that should have been in the game but they were never expanded on. For example, you could see Heavenly Bladewing in the opening... but characters didn't have a second or tag team mystic artes. You could also find Patty's room in the Torim lighthouse and even see her name but she didn't exist in the game at all beyond that. The game always mentioned preparing for the 'tag team tournament' at Nordopolica as well but the highest colosseum level available was the solo 200-melee.
@@deathbykonami5487 Yes, I know that. Did you read my comment? I mentioned that she was cut out of the english version that was on the xbox 360. The Japanese PS3 was the original version, and she wasn't on the English version on the English version, so therefore she was cut.
@@GuardianAngelEatos I'm pretty sure it was obvious. I mean, how would they cut out every segment of Patty and all of Flynn's additional segments if the original had those? That would take a lot more work than just localizing it normally. No video game company would do that.
Mind doing one for Arise? I know there isn't a dedicated victory screen, but there are still nice quotes. There's a nice couple of "We are..." and "Our weapons are...".
Oh man. I have a busy two weeks coming up but I can try to do the Japanese voices after that? I have the story-based victory quotes coming out tomorrow though in the meantime! You are welcome ^_^

@@Monobrobe There is nothing to stop a solo victory quote from happening. It's more like meeting the requirements for a group one to happen and then hoping it does happen sometimes. Meeting the requirements for one group victory quote does not stop other ones from happening too.

Too bad they completely butchered the translation on new lines, even if Troy Baker was rehired. "Victory Calls..." is basically "The sign of victory...", and I cannot forgive "The First Dwarf's Vow" in the cameo custume skit. They were recorded completely in vacuum.
@@TheAfrowJow In Flynn's, Estelle goes into "Serious princess mode"(that also happens in "I've been trained by knights, I cannot lose!"), but in Patty's; Estelle is still Estelle (btw, I love Patty's sign of victory quote)
