Part of what you say I agree. Knowing that christopher columbus didn't discover america is just the basic that our parents can teach us. There's a list of things the current educational public system is destroying our Black children from the curriculum, vaccination, food, politics, Trade Courses, Financial Literacy, Stock and International Market, Precious Metals, etc. Yes education do start from home but even our parents don't know all the skills sets we need to be successful because they were not taught either, definitely in our Black family homes where majority of our children are growing up in single parent homes. We have to get that out of our mindset by saying if I made it you can make it too. Everyone is brought up and raised differently. We have to work as a group and get out of this individualism mindset. Other ethnic races work as a group but Blacks. The last time Black People were successful as a whole was in the 1920's when we had our own schools, banks, hospitals, factories, Co-op's, Distribution Centers, etc. We need to get back to that. Even our current College Universities don't teach the proper skill set to be successful and survive in life. Umar should not be the only one trying to build independent schools for our children. We need more. Dr. Watkins is another person that's trying to do the same thing. Of course it's going to take many schools to teach every Black child. That's why after we build the physical location we will then have online school for those who can't attend in person. But we want the physical school first because you cannot depend on technology 100% of the time. Plus a lot of skills that need to be taught; needs to be done in person. Dr. Umar is not the one savior but this is a start. We all are leaders not just Umar. These are things we use to have but Black folks gave it up to integrate with white folks. 90% of the things I've learned was not in public schools, home or college. Even the income I make in a year is more than the average PHd makes from the skill sets I learned. Having our own schools is Creating Generational Wealth for Generations to come.
By the way this is a 5 year plan. Also before you can show a business plan you got to have the Building first and know what State and City the school is going to be in. Without the building/location we don't know what the numbers will look like. Cost for repairs, Utilities, Insurance, number of children attending annually, food, tuition, City/State tax etc. You got to have the building before you start chopping up numbers. We have several different states we are looking at now with potential.We was looking at a school in Baltimore yesterday. Dr. Umar is not just anybody who wants to run a school. He has almost 20 years working in the school system and almost 10 of those years as a school principal in the State of Pennsylvania. So when it comes to the numbers and cost to run a school he knows it because he done it before. Dr. Umar has reached out to Black corporations, celebrities, and even Oprah. The problem with that is most of them will not help out due to Umar political views. The main reason is their money is tied up with white corporation and if they get caught trying to make a big contributions to this cause their money will be cut off. This is true because even Dr. Claude Anderson had the same problem and Dr. Claude had the money to build business in the Black communities. With Dr. Claude several Black celebrities out in Los Angeles told him they had to ask their white agent if they can give to this kind of cause. To build black institutions we should not have to ask white corporation for help. The moment you do that it's no longer yours. Now if white folks want to contribute with no strings attach we will accept that. They will want majority of the ownership and lords knows what kind of curriculum will be force to teach. Donations will not be the only means to keep the school running. I have never had a problem asking Umar or Dr. Claude a question. It's the people that comes with the disrespect towards Umar. I've had talked to him several times over the phone during his conference calls. We have more than $250K. We have a little over $700,000 at this time.
Those examples you gave where people knows the budgets before buying a school or property; they also already knows the location it's going to be in. Without knowing what city and state you're going to be in how are you going to do the numbers! Yes we can look at a existing school for a rough draft but I myself want to know the real numbers. For example the school of choice we was looking at first was in Lawrenceville, Virginia. If we did the numbers which we did and put out a business plan to the public as of 6 months ago we would have to rip that up due to the school being bought by someone else. If thats the case we would have to put out a business plan for every location we look at. Building the schools from the ground is a possibility too on our list which could take longer. Also technically we cannot call it a all black school. I'm pretty sure there will be a few white parents that will try to send their child to the Academy. If they want their child to learn Afrikan culture then so be it. Also I didn't say Umar worked in the school system for 30 years. Dr. Umar is 44 or 45 years old. I said he worked for almost 20 years and within those 20 years almost 10 years as a Principal at The Commonwealth Of Pennsylvania Department of Education grades K-12th!
Umar started off as a School Psychologist. He had to become a principal at age 28 because I remember him saying he left from being a principal in 2010. He still practice today as a School Psychologist. I don't have those sources at hand. It's been a year since I found them. Yes I do agree if anyone going to be working with children we should be able to see some credentials to back it up. When I find it again I will post in another reply. Before I found the sources to show others I just knew Umar had the credentials he states by the many places he spoke at; on every continent, Universities, and the networks he's been on. A lot of these places he's been to and on he has to show proof of his credentials. In today's world we do have to be safe when it comes to our children.

Now I ask the question, what type of families are going to send their children to FDMG? The average private school tuition is around 15K ( more or less, depending on the region). This means the same families that can afford the 15K for the voucher program, (the uppity ones) are most likely going to attend his school because they have the money. It is just a contradiction or maybe even a revelation that most of the families that go to FDMG will be the very same bourgeoisie families that he often ridicules. FACTSSSS!!!

Well people also said he was did not have a doctorate degree and he did produce that information for a long time, but he finally did. I knew he had the doctorate because it is very easy to look up. Just like he did not reveal the degree, I think it will be some time before he revels which school he worked for. I think he worked for the school for a short period of time and was either fired or quite because of his controversial views. If he was only a principle for six months or so that would be good enough reason to not disclose that, but I do believe that he was a principle before because he has too much knowledge of how the position works and he has a principle certification.

But Sir how much will the private FDMG school cost? If it cost 15K per year ( which is rather cheap) then what type of people are going to enter the school? It seems the same uppity families that would benefit from the voucher program.
Fillip Nelson if it's cheap then why wouldn't families with lesser incomes that can afford it attend, why the wealthy class? If it is cheap why would they choose to attend this school? Wouldn't they think their too good or better than 15k?
My point is this; Dr. Johnson is acting like the voucher program is going to be too expensive for most black families to benefit from because as he said it will only offer a portion of the money that would go towards a high-achieving private school. He said Black families will not have the extra income. However, will his school be free? No. Most likely it will cost some money. Now, an expensive private school is something like 40k per year. A cheap private school I would guess is like 15k per year. So if Dr. Johnson is going to run a private school on the cheaper side then I will say it will cost the family, or even the single mother 15k per year. So, the same single mother that could not afford to spend 15k for a voucher program, how can they afford to attend this private school that is also 15k or so.. Plain and simple, no children from the hod, or very little from the hood will go to his school. Of the children that do atttend it will be the same uppity families he speaks of in his video regarding the voucher program.
