As always Mark Hollis showing his great interpretive capacity, without fanfare and unleashed egos that make up a great and exceptional artist. It is a great shame that he left this world still young, his musical legacy only increases and values with the passage of time. Rest in peace dear Mark David Hollis.
had the pleasure to be at a concert with Talk Talk 85 og 86. A band that is even better live, then on record. And with music still worth listening to after almost 4 decades.
Mark Hollis ... the one person in this video -- including the audience -- seemingly not locked in an 80s time warp. Looks and sounds like he could have been dropped right out of the year 2012 from a space ship while the other guys, talented as they are, look like they could be in Culture Club. Everything about the man here is timeless in a mind-boggling way. It's just too stunning.
The absolute 'rawness' of this song is simply amazing. I love how it starts out slow and builds to an incredible crescendo. You don't need flashing lights, fireworks and a stadium area to perfect an amazing song and band! Talk Talk and Mark Hollis are truly amazing musicians. RIP Mark Hollis.

I had the thrill of experiencing Talk Talk as they came of age during my (misspent) youth, and I've been listening to them ever since. Throughout the years I have constantly stunned by the breadth and depth this band delivered, and still do.
You can see a difference how the public experiences a performance, they are just enjoying a good band that is making good music, eyes closed and focus on their ears. Nowadays during concerts, you see the public mainly looking around, watching, and being impressed by a visual show.
I don't know how I missed them when they first came out I was really into a lot of British Rock Elton John ,Genesis, Roxy music and many other great bands
I also post Talk Talk songs on my FB occassionally, and they get ignored. People put up ridiculous, uncreative, unoriginal memes...tons of likes and comments. I feel your pain, friend. Such a shame.
I watch this and just about every Talk Talk video available. Mark even directs you to the obvious with his head rhythm. Lee Harris is my favorite drummer, without question. He directs with his face. Where was I when this was happening??? Working.

Absolutely brilliant, I to am one who posts Talk talk videos on FB with no response from others. They have no taste as far as im concerned, Mark Hollis is a genius!!
This live version is incredible I tried snapping my head back and forth like Mark does and it hurt z l don't know how he does it like that but it's fascinating to watch and I love this band

From Montreal, can’t spell city correct. Sure have some great live gigs on utube. Check out the demo version of Tomorrow Started! It’s so much better then album version. Take care!
