Congratulations! My husband and I are about to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary, and all I can say is the engagement goes SO FAST, and the first year of marriage goes even faster! Cherish every second, even the times you are about to pull your hair out! Our dogs were in our wedding ceremony and are in the pictures, and it means so much to have them there! They are family.

I thought he was playing a joke on me because he's faked me out once before. so I was giggling and not paying attention and next thing I know he gets down on his knee and pulls the box with the ring out from inside his zip up sweatshirt, under is fricken arm and asks me to marry him! And I had a lot going through my head so I didn't respond right away so he stood up and said "well???!!" LoL! Soon after I'm crying my damn eyes out!

Hi Casey! Congrats to both you and Davis! Many wishes to you both! I live in Florida. When my husband and I were planning our wedding, we had a lot of 'musts' for a venue. When looking at venues, always ask what the back up is for if it rains. Always see where they would put you if it rains. Or see if you could rent a clear tent to put over the ceremony site, if it were to rain. Always ask what's included with your venue. Find out what kind of linens, chairs, chargers, etc. Find out what your minimum amount for food you would have to pay. These are just a couple of questions we asked. Congrats! Tip on outdoor venues because it rained on ours. Luckily the clouds parted right before the party went down the aisle and it worked out BUT we didn't have a backup plan that I was OK with at that venue. So if you pick an outdoor venue make sure you also really, really like the indoor backup plan. Because you'll be really upset and crying (at least I did) beforehand if it's raining just because you're disappointed your vision isn't happening. It just makes the day more stressful and you don't enjoy the pre-wedding getting ready as much. So definitely have a backup plan that you love.

I had to plan my wedding in 6 weeks because my husband is in the military and that was the only time off he'd have that we could count on. You gotta take advantage of the time you have in military relationships!
Mackenzie Mueller ours was planned in 4 weeks and we have been married for 3 years and almost through our first year deployment that is almost done. Honestly I wouldn't have liked to plan longer I know what I want lol.
I used double wear on my wedding and had 0 flashback starting at 7am thru 2am when I finally got home... and I use it on a lot of brides (freelance). If you had flashback, it may be the powder or a product you used underneath. You may want to test it out because I'm such a double wear fanatic LOL.
I did my makeup on my wedding day and I'm so glad I did! It turned out just how I wanted to, but also I was so nervous and anxious it was kind of therapeutic to just sit and focus on my makeup and not spend time worrying and thinking.
You should do like wedding trials with us! Like film a few different looks and we choose our favorite look for your wedding Day! Like this comment so she sees it! I think it would be so cool!
OH MY GOSH DO I HAVE CRAZY NEWS FOR YOU! Not only did I get engaged in the SAME weekend as you, but our story also resembles yours! He told us to get a picture so we took a selfie (in Baltimore at the Inner Harbor btw), and when the selfie wasn't capturing the view of the harbor, he asked a couple to take a picture of us. Next thing I know, he told them to take one more and while doing so he was on one knee asking me to marry him! ANDDDDDD fun fact, I had just seen a picture of you on social media getting engaged probably 20 minutes before he asked me and I was freaking out over your engagement! Little did I know I was about to have my own! I just think that is so crazy I had to tell you. I hope you see this!

Ok so I'm just curious so I thought I'd ask. Is there any particular reason why you do your eyes before foundation? I know some people do that, but I just know that I would definitely mess up my eyes trying to blend foundation/concealer.
Also, I was planning on wearing that double-wear estee lauder foundation on my wedding day, I didn't know it had back flashback!!! Anyone have any better recommendations???

I planned my wedding in a month! 😂 My husband is in the Navy and we were supposed to have from March to November to plan but in June he was told that we had until July so I had to start from scratch pretty much. 😂
She's smart! My friends wedding is in June and we went early January to get bridesmaid dresses, and more than half the dresses wouldn't be available by then. Same goes for venues, etc.
