Talk | Whitfield Lovell and Richmond 

Artist Whitfield Lovell speaks on Visitation: The Richmond Project (2001). The final installation in the exhibition Whitfield: Lovell Passages, this artwork celebrates the history of the Jackson Ward neighborhood, paying tribute to the lives, names, and faces of the people who lived there. Whitfield Lovell also discussed his residency at the Hand Workshop Art Center (now Visual Arts Center) that resulted in the creation of this installation.
