He’s a good reminder that we can never quite appreciate the impact that we may have on others, good and bad. Danny clearly made an impact on Stephen. Iron sharpens iron. Great discussion. Thanks again.
@AALegalFocus, I want to say too that I appreciate your efforts to keep the Markel case alive. For giving a voice to Dan Markel even ten years after his death. For inviting guests who loved Dan and are also still working to get justice for Dan, which will not be complete until Wendi and Harvey both are arrested and charged.
I do too, although I seriously doubt it. Mr. Webster's statement directed to Ben and Lincoln had me in tears 😢. So heartfelt and him saying he'll continue being an advocate for their Dad as long as he lives was powerful.
Oh that last statement from Stephen is so powerful. I hope Dan's boys do hear it loud and with the love behind it. We all think of Dan's boys regularly and hope they have peace throughout their lives, as Dan would want.
… hard to imagine the brainwashing and gaslighting the boys have been subjected to from the Adelson family, hopefully they will emerge from the fog one day.
I know, but the children! How tragic! It makes you sick to think how they took everything good from their childhood. So, Doona could have her way and Wendi. She knew and couldn't wait to see with her own eyes!
There are several such statements that Mr. Webster makes which paint the picture of how devastating narcissistic abuse can be to a person. It is an absolute mind fuk. It is the essence of emotional trauma. Mr. Webster exemplifies the antithesis of self centeredness, which is the only way to put the pieces back together after your friend is murdered.
Yes! Btw, I made the comment about Sigfredo and Luis because they too worked in construction, for Coastal Masonry. It's interesting to hear how people turned to law as a second career. Now 32 doesn't sound old at all.
Wow Judy that was such a great and tender interview. Stephen's personal message to Dan's two children came from his heart and it was very moving. Thank you again, to both of you and for all the thoughtful tributes to Dan's valuable life in the comments
The Adelsons HATE Dan with a passion. They are repugnant villains. The Adelson name is trash. I bet they’re seething with rage. The man that they hated. The man that they destroyed has become the good guy. He has defeated them…even in death.
Not just that but all that Adelson money will be gone on lawyers fees. Four people from the same family hiring top-notch lawyers will easily cost $8 million and they're still going to lose and all end up in prison. That's gotta hurt.
@@sula1529 - He was a good guy. But he’s more well known because of his death. And the Adelson‘s are more hated because of his death. They tried to erase Dan. But now more people know about him and love him then ever before
Loved every word of this!!… although none of these people are my immediate circle …. I feel far too much outrage and frustration regarding this case. I shall go crazy if they don’t charge & prosecute Wendi soon 🤪🤨🧐
Yes! This is one thing that makes me happy, even though they haven't all been charged yet. BECAUSE of what they did, the world knows that he was on a different level than they were/are. They are evil. He was good.
Missed the live, but clicked immediately when I saw Mr. Webster was your guest. What a kind, gentle soul he is! He never fails to to speak only the truth about Dan, and speaks so highly of those he works with (Louis!).
Thanks, for inviting Attorney Stephen Foster to be interviewed on your channel. Great interview! It was like a small window into meeting Professor Dan Markel.
(Wow, I left a message and it disappeared.) Anyway, I loved your last question where Stephen gave a powerful, heartwarming message to the boys on Dan's behalf. Another great podcast ... Justice for Dan!
That's odd. I didn't delete them. Sometimes youtube thinks comments are spam & I later see them within RU-vid Studio as a hidden comment that could be spam or offensive. I think if someone makes a comment right after clicking on a video or leaves multiple comments one right after another, youtube is more likely to think it's spam.
@aalegalfocus Hi Judy, we all know you're the last person who'd remove comments. It also happens on other channels for no rhyme or reason ... oh well, first world problems, eh?
@CGriffinGo a few years ago, this subscriber became irate, accusing me of deleting his comments. This was back when I did more "is law school worth it" type videos; he was all riled up & unsubscribed. Another person got upset thinking I'd reported her to youtube & unsubscribed in a huff. She wanted to email me directly about it. Who has time for that? One of the mods may have blocked her during the Brother Counsel livestream, when she was complaining about him talking too much about non-Markel topics.
Thanks For This Wonderful Interviews, Judy. Every Time, I've Watched Any Interview That Stephen Webster is Part of, I've Been SO VERY IMPRESSED BY HIM. He Appears To Be Such a Warm & Wonderful Person! ❤
Thank you Judy❤another great interview. We all appreciate everything you do to keep the Justice for Dan movement in the forefront. ❤ #JUSTICEFORDAN #ARRESTWENDI2024 #RETURNTHERINGWENDI
Touching interview. This man made my heart smile,. It is indeed so inconceivable to hear this dedicated father was cruelly taken out of his sons life by Wendi and her family because it was inconvenient for these monsters to deal with him like normal adults. Justice in full for Dan 2024 and may his legacy of goodness live on❤️
I pray that the young men now (Dan’s son’s) find their way to the Markel side of the family . they will reunite with their grandparents auntie uncle and cousins and find trust and unconditional love
Hopefully their minds have not been manipulated against the grand parents. They may not have much of a relationship with them at the moment through no fault of their own or the markels but as they get older and have their own kids they might decide to but hopefully that won't be too late. It will take time to build a relationship between them all As far as they were concerned their main grand parents were Donna and Harvey. Let's hope they get to hear interviews like this and realise who their dad and his parents were like 🙏 There's no perfect reuniting and happy ever after unfortunately and if wendi goes to prison they lose both parents which will be difficult psychologically and emotionally.,
yes, hopefully. but Wendi has successfully destroyed those bonding years, the halloweens, the High Holidays of family, the cute talks, lost teeth, and so many moments that cannot be replaced. Can someone explain who would date Wendi?? she has a boyfriend?? 🌰 🥜
On replay. I really admire Steven Webster. He is a good human being and always brings Dan to life. I do hope Wendi gets arrested soon the more I hear about her the more unjust it seems that she is still free. Thanks again Judy for a great interview.
Another great show! The two prompters are such genuine people and care about Dan and that the truth be told. Steve is a good solid man and kind of changes my thoughts towards lawyers. He was concerned for truth and not the nonsense. Just such a shame this all happened to Dan and to his sons. It’s honestly heartbreaking and still shocking after 10 years! I really hope she’s arrested on the anniversary of Dan’s death! July 19th 2024! Go TEAM MARKEL!
Replay Crew🇬🇧❤️ Many Thanks Mr Webster for your candid and emotive conversation with Judy. Great Channel. Much Appreciation for your work. #JusticeForDan from Shropshire, England 🏴🦋
Wow. Those last statements brought me to tears ❤️💔 what a beautiful tribute and dedication to Dan. I cannot despise Wendi anymore for the devastation she created!!
Me too. Honestly the whole interview was a tearjerker. I know someone just like Wendi… high functioning, successful, clever, but chillingly capable of any act regardless of whose lives shes to hurt or traumatized forever. They must charge this woman.
Of all times I go out and Stephen Webster was on omggg ! We’re still learning little tidbits on The Case incredible to hear ! I’m so happy your read my thoughts you and I and many people have felt so much about Dans death and he is an advocate for Dan the loving father and the intelligence he had the man he was his legacy carries on !I am on that wave length the talent in the prosecutors office can get the arrest of Wendi ! I especially love Dan introduced him to Mr Baptiste also an advocate for the love Dan had for his boys and them being able to carry on in a practice together I’m sure he is shining down on them ❤️Thank you Judy looking wonderful as always 💕👋🏻
Wow Judy! Your landing all of the great interview with top notch guest for your subscribers and viewer’s. Congratulations on your success and the excellent way the interviews were conducted. Superb content. Thanks for this again Judy.
I love this man… he is someone whose literal calling was to be an attorney. It would be wonderful if all lawyers could be like him. He’s truly honorable. ♥️⚖️ I’ve worked for many attorneys over the years and this guy is the epitome of what a good lawyer should be. I’m grateful that he was Dan’s attorney. The emotion in his voice when speaking of Dan is so deeply touching.
Thank you Judy! Thank you Mr. Webster! You are an amazing human, attorney and advocate for Dan! I am hoping and praying that one day Benjamin and Lincoln can view this episode and hear the truth about their amazing father.❤
Thank you again Judy you always have the best guest and go a long ways to keeping Dan Markels memory alive for us all.Steve was a great guest such beautiful words for his children. Justice for Dan Markel❤
@@aalegalfocus one of the best interviews, Judy . Mr. Webster is a good man whom like the the majority of us sane people have such a difficult time believing people like the evil Adelson’s exist to do such a horrific thing to another human being. We that care so much for Dan & his family continue to keep this horrendous crime for justice for Dan & family alive until all responsible are prosecuted. Thanks so much Judy, you’re also a wonderful person, we love you, Darlin. Can’t wait until DA ‘s trial & hopefully the arrest of Wendi. My heart aches for his son’s & Dam’s family. ❤️🙏👋🥰🤗
Thanks so much for this Judy. Stephen is a real gentleman. He is not afraid to share his emotions about the effect Dans death had had on him and he is so genuine. Great questions Judy, some new interesting nuggets. The call from the doctor’s office, Lord 😮. How Dan intimated that Donna “was not to be trusted” - wow, to hear this as first hand testimony from Stephen is chilling. As if we needed any proof that Donna was chief instigator but for it to be reinforced by Dan himself at how cold blooded she was is still shocking. The way Wendi put out “feeler” calls to Stephen and also Jared shows how evil and conniving this evil woman is. Like mother like daughter. Like father like son. The Adelson 4 will get their just deserts.
Thank you Judy! Thank you for bringing such great guest! Mr Webster is a treasure for Dan Markel memories and hope the kids get to listen to his thoughtful words someday. But I’m still curious since he kept in touch with detective Isom, what did Isom thought about Wendi’s culpability? I will be always wondering..
When you put the two families next to each other, they are such polar opposites. The true indignation that the Markel's have faced over the last 10 years on top of the horrific crime committed against their son is truly the stuff of nightmares. Juxtapostion that to the Adelson and their endless whining and it's jaw dropping. One family has endured endless heartache but gracefully withstands it for the fight for justice and the family that brought all this into being acts defiant, arrogant and annoyed about even being challenged about their acts. If it wasn't for this complete fall from grace for the Adelson's, i think I would have completely lost my faith in humanity over this. When Wendi is finally prosecuted, one some deep and admittedly weird level, i will be thrilled. Maybe it says more about me than anything else but i know i am not alone❤
🙋♀️Any updates on DA in Leon County Jail. I barely can drive by without thinking of how much she hates the food, accommodations, neighbors and sporks‼️💯
Thank you so much Judy for this interview. I have been following this case since Charlie's trial. I saw bits and pieces of Katie's second trial on Court TV, but since Charlie's conviction I have been following faithfully. Attorney Webster has made me even more passionate towards knowing who Dan really was and praying his sons learn the truth about their dad and the evilness of the Adelson family. I watch something about it every day, reruns, etc. I was not going to donate any $$$ to the Justice for Dan organization bcuz I live on a fixed income, but after hearing this interview, I am going to donate something. Again, thank you.
Judy, I LOVE your Adelson coverage. Webster is ride-or-die for Dan and I love hearing him recount his experiences with Wendi. He wants her in jail almost as much as I do. Wendi is guilty (IMHO) and like Webster, I expect Wendi will be arrested very soon. Wendi’s guilt seeps out whenever she speaks- for example, in her email to Donna shortly after Charlie’s conviction Wendi writes, “…I’m not responsible in any way for Charlie’s situation. I am not guilty because I did not do anything wrong…” Now, why would Wendi need to qualify her innocence with the second part? Why would Wendi need to tell Donna she’s done nothing wrong? Surely an innocent person wouldn’t need to explain to their own mother why they’re innocent if they’ve done nothing wrong. But Wendi knows she cannot say she did nothing; all she can say is that she’s done nothing wrong. Because Donna knows what Wendi did. And Donna has probably consoled Wendi over the years- assuring her daughter that she really had done nothing wrong. I’m sure Donna has told Wendi that it was not wrong to reveal Dan’s location to Charlie- even though all of them knew this act meant the hitmen would soon find and murder Dan. But a sister telling a brother a fact as simple as a location of a latex spouse, that is not wrong, is it? (It is. It’s wrong; when placed in the context, it’s wrong and it’s 1st Degree Murder, Wendi. And THAT is “unconstitutional”). I believe this comment from Wendi to Donna says it all. “I’m not responsible … because I did not do anything wrong”. Charlie also whines to Donna about the fact that he’s been convicted for a crime he didn’t commit. But what he’s really saying is- I have been convicted of murder and that’s unfair because I’m not the trigger man. He’s dissociating his involvement from the crime itself. Charlie also complains about the case being “dumbed down” to more than the events on July 18. In his comments to Donna on the jailhouse calls it’s clear Charlie has excused himself from any culpability in any actions because he was not involved in the physical murder on July 18. And Donna listens sympathetically. She doesn’t challenge his flawed logic. She goes along with it- because they’re being recorded and because anything else would require Donna to admit her own involvement- and that’s not going to happen, I believe Wendi was intricately involved in the planning of the murder; Wendi understands her role was minimal (in her mind), but she also understands its grounds for prosecution. She revealed Dan’s whereabouts that morning, and that’s how the hitmen found him, and that’s how he was killed. She knows this is the act that will seal her fate. So she is now trying to get ahead of it by signaling to her mom that if push comes to shove, Wendi will be willing to admit she did disclose Dan’s location to Charlie during that 18 minute call, but she had no awareness of that act’s consequences. In essence, she is telling Donna in no uncertain terms that she will throw Charlie under the bus if it comes down to it. This also signals to Donna that Wendi will throw Donna under the bus if necessary, too. Wendi, Donna, and Charlie, all recognize they all spoke in half-truth’s and code during the entire planning phase- and Wendi stupidly believes this will allow her to feign ignorance and therefore innocence when it comes time for her own trial. However, she will be convicted when she stands trial. The State has the WhatsApp receipts and Wendi knows it. Georgia basically told Wendi that she had the proof when she asked Wendi about her use of WhatsApp. Georgia also signals to Wendi that she knows Wendi was the one who provided Dan’s location to the hitmen through Charlie. Wendi will need to explain away the text to Dan several weeks earlier- ya know, the text where Wendi asks Dan if he’ll be in town on the day of the murder because she wants to know if she can have “the kiddos”. And by the way, “Kiddos” …? Awful. Wendi is quite proud of her Pearl Harbor divorce ambush, too. In the Writing Class podcast she says (paraphrasing), “it wasn’t the first time I’d asked Danny for a divorce, but it was the last time” … I mean, who says that?! And says it about their own murder victim, no less. How cold-blooded. Wendi is a true monster. That divorce was an extremely nasty divorce, and Wendi’s pride was on the line. Donna wanted those boys in Miami with her because Donna desperately needed a mulligan at motherhood. She wanted a redo. Donna had raised two boys, and look how that panned out. One son didn’t talk to her because he saw Donna for the monster she was (Robert- shout out to him), and one son was a dental school fuck-up riding Daddy’s coat-tails, zero humility, I mean heck- Charlie has the audacity to whine to his parents on the jailhouse calls that (paraphrasing) “he made it, he made it on his own- no one helped him” 😲 I mean, really? Charlie says this to Harvey and Donna- knowing full and well that Harvey had to help him pass his classes, graduate, and then gave him his job at the Adelson Institute. If that’s not “help” I don’t know what is. ‘Self-made’ is not a word I’d use to describe Charlie, lol. My point is, there was Wendi’s rage from the divorce- a battle she knew she was losing, and there was also Donna’s desperation to have another two boys in her possession. For Donna, the possession of these boys was the next best thing to a real-live fountain of youth. Having the boys meant Donna could relive her younger years raising two young boys- first Robert and Charlie, and now Ben and Lincoln. People sometimes erroneously posit Donna to have been in the driver’s seat and Wendi was a passive bystander- but that is not the case, at all. Each of these women had their own passionate motive to see Dan dead. For Wendi, it was about winning. For Donna, it was about reliving her years when she was a young mom. Those Adelson’s all spoke about this murder in code, but they all knew exactly what they were working towards. They all knew the goal. Once it happened, Wendi could hardly believe it. The fiction-author’s fantasy had become reality as soon as she saw it with her own blue-contact covered eyes as she K-Turned her minivan around down on Trescott that fateful day. “This is Our Story” is just a joke, too. What’s up with these creepy spouse-murdering women writing shitty books and then going on some shitty daytime local news show to talk about said shitty book? (ahem, Kouri Richins, meet Wendi Jill Adelson) It’s appalling. Once Wendi is convicted she’ll become a case study example of what a monster looks like, lurking in plain sight. That’ll be the retrospective lens through which newcomers to this case reflect on this woman. But I find it way more fascinating to consider Wendi now, while she lives in purgatory, awaiting her own arrest. Imagine the dread she must feel every day. The merry go round of emotions- dread, denial, rabbit-hole analysis, revisionist history thought exercises, regret, vengeance, repeat. Once Wendi is arrested the intrigue will fall away for me. And I look forward to the day. Until then, here were are. Justice for Dan Markel Arrest Wendi Adelson, NOW.
This interview is a really important document of the record of Dan's life and what has befallen his sons. Mr. Webster is in a unique position that allows him to know elements that no one else could know. His honesty and plain spoken nature serves beautifully. Donna Adelson clearly qualifies for having narcissistic personality disorder. She ruined her children's lives by being self-centered. Wendi absorbed her sadistic personality traits. Wendi and Donna hated Dan because he loved his children and because they loved him. Donna taught her daughter to be a liar. It is not too far a stretch to characterize the marriage between Dan and Wendi as fraudulent. The true parties to the marriage included Donna, and of course, Dan had no way of knowing this when they married. Dan's boys will have serious problem from having been raised by narcissists. There is no path out of for them unless they grapple with very painful truths. The effects of being raised by narcissists cannot be un-done over night.
What a wonderful post. Everything you say is spot on. And yes...unravelling the effects of being raised by a narcissist takes a very, very long time. Unfortunately the only way forward for the boys is to have future stength and courage to peel away all the layers of their distorted upbringing.
Great guest interview. What a wonderful message he gave at the very end for the boys. Wendy changed the name of the boys so that when googled (and if they got away with it) it would be distant. Boy, did that backfire now when they google the name Adelson!
Stephen Webster is one impressive human being. I could feel his emotions. I hope the boys seek him out later. I am sure he will treat Ben & Lincoln like his sons. I hope he writes a book on Dan Markle that the boys and others can read! Very very sad, even though I don’t know Dan.
Although ultimately the passage of time resulted in more damaging evidence against Charlie and the others. Thanks for tuning in & for your questions, Dawn!
