Barnaby Edwards and Nick Briggs Talking about how they practice scenes from Doctor Who This was Filmed at Power:Reimagined, An Unofficial Doctor Who Convention, Ferneham Hall in Fareham, near Portsmouth. Saturday 1st September 2012
Jim Henson already did that for his larger Muppets, including Big Bird. Henson actually pioneered the technology in the late 1970s for Sesame Street and The Muppet Show. The TVs were about the size of a 2021 cell phone. It was pretty awesome and ingenious for its day.
That was because these Daleks were used in an independent film "Power of the Daleks": Reimagined. Hence why the 60's colors were used. I think they look great!
Or at the very least a different damn color scheme. It’s sad that Sec and the Supreme and Ironsides are the only unique colored time war model Daleks. Where’s they grey, gold, black gold, silver, white time war model Daleks?
Crimson Dynamo, technically there’s also the Emperor’s Guard and the Supreme / Commander Dalek from “Parting of the Ways”. The Dalek Guards (the one with the black domes) are more obvious, but in the background of a single scene - behind the Emperor - you can see a black and bronze accented Dalek leading a large detachment of bronze drones.
You fools Daleks are real, just keep being pretending they are fake and some day the real Daleks will invade and you will be treated as the boy who cried wolf, one too many times
