I'm a little under the weather today. Hoping I wake up feeling better tomorrow. I forgot to mention Frank is on the final track. Which I didn’t immediately notice until I looked into it. Let me know your thoughts on the new album and who should I get on the channel next?
I think this one is the most solid of the last 3-4 Suffocation albums, not only for the compositions but also for the impeccable production, two aspects in which the band almost always struggled to reach a balance, since their beginnings with 'Breeding the Spawn'. obviously this is still far from Effigy or Pierced, but the fact that I came to compare it with those masterpieces speaks very well of the band, even more so, considering that there are almost no original members left. nice video!
I wasn't sure how i was going to feel about Frank not being on the album but after hearing it, I'm really loving this album. Lots of cool riffs. Ricky has a bit of old Frank mixed into his vocals.
No disrespect to frank at all but his vocals on the last track are completely shot. This album wouldn't be as good as it is if he did the vocals on the entire album.
I thought the same thing. I had to listen to that track several times. I can't believe they allowed that to be the final vocal take. It sounded like he was struggling to get through it.
Hi Melanie. I'm new to your channel. I really enjoy your videos. I'm more of a black metal fan but I do like some death metal. Your reviews are cool and you've got me interested and wanting to listen to stuff I haven't checked out before.
Hi Melanie, stay strong. I stopped following Suffocation a long time ago, however I'll give the new album a listen. Next person? How about Ken? I would also look forward to a talk with another female presenter who's into extreme metal.
The guys from the channel Thralls of Metal would be great guests for your channel. They love extreme metal too. One of my all time favorite SUFFOCATION songs with a part that hits hard would be Thrones of Blood.
Cool review. To me this sounded like new Cannibal in a way. Like the the thickness and just overall heavy weight to it all. I think it is cool, that you mentioned Devourment because I’m not the biggest slam guy, but I did like that album. I guess I gotta watch your Cannibal review now. 🧟♂️🧟🧟♀️
