@@massivebass9623 I might make a vid on the difference between a sealed subwoofer box and a ported box. If not I'll explain to you in this comment. A ported box is more louder but not as efficient far from tuning frequency. Each subwoofer box is tuned to a certain frequency. Now a subwoofer also has a frequency response in which it plays loud at. It's called the resident frequency response or fs of a subwoofer. If you tune your box at the subwoofers fs it should hit very loud spl and might meter louder but if your subwoofer has a very low fs or hz then it might be louder to tune your subwoofer box at a higher hz. Now a sealed box hits every note but it won't be as loud as a ported subwoofer box near its tuning fs response. My opinion if you have a small space get a sealed box or if you want to hear every note clear and punchy notes use a sealed box. Now if you want to hear huge amounts of bass at a certain hz then get a ported subwoofer box near your taste of music. If you like punchy bass get a smaller subwoofer tuned high but it isn't going to play the lows. That's where the sealed subwoofer box is better. You can get a subwoofer to play punchy bass loud but also play low 20hz notes as well just not as loud as a low tuned ported box. My opinion get a bigger ported subwoofer box tuned to around the mid 30hz. Have a good night and take care 😃👍
