Charli had a song about hating Taylor out of jealousy on her album! I don’t have a problem with Charli writing the song but don’t come for Taylor about personal beef with someone she knows personally

here is my take on the charts situation- If I buy a vinyl/cd or any merch from the artist, means that i wanna support them and like their music and want them to succeed or I want their music to dominate. If an artist is themselves not serious about the charts and the commerce and is willing to give away the spot without any hesitation then that shows how they have taken me( or the fans) for GRANTED. It means that they don't have the hunger to be successful, and I would rather not support such an artist who is not serious or passionate about their own work. This isn't MUSIC'S NEXT TOP BEST FRIEND, this is the SHOWBIZ. Here every minute is full of competition and you should be hungry and desperate to win. Or else, there is no point in signing with a label. If u are really not chart obsessed/ number obsessed, then why don't you become a underground act and keep doing ur thing. There's a reason why every rising artist is now signed to a major record label, and that reason is- 🤑💸💰
