I always told my daughter , when she was a baby, to tell me a baby story. She would coo and gurgle and laugh. Those days end too soon. My baby is 50 now.
Its so important what she is doing with baby. Normal conversation not baby talk, will yield good results. Many parents leave their kids in front of loud TV. Good job mom!
@@Gaumukh Yep. And that's really sad. I'm 14 years old, and my mother really cared about me and played with me every time i wanted to play. Even if i needed to learn to do some thing by myself really fast, she loved me! And i love her.
That's a long time for a little infant to focus so intently. That's some of the most rapid learning taking place of any human except babies. They are massive sponges. Not to mention massive cuteness.
It’s no wonder he’s a happy baby. His mom is magic! She talks with him. One day, soon, he will talk back in words she understands, and Mom’s eyes will suddenly grow too large for her head. That will be her reward for being so good at her job! What a wonderful pair.
Spent many years taking care of infants. The way she is speaking with him exactly as I did. Every child became an excellent conversationalist. Several have become public speakers. Every time I see them on television I am so proud.
Eye contact and facial expressions while communicating with your new little one is so important. I have a 2 month old that babbles and coos while we converse. Love this video!
Ha ha, before I had children, I thought it was silly when ppl said talked. When I had my babies, I knew it was true! We just didn't always know what they were saying, lol. I could listen to my babies coo and talk all day.
I got my new one to start doing this at 2 months as well, drives mom nuts cause he hears my voice and immediately ceases whatever he was doing including napping
@@happyface9000 , right... babies are inherently adorable. It is a survival method that is nature driven. While she is totally absorbed with this infant , the older child is absolutely ignored. This poor child could develop resentments toward this sibling and maybe his mother for shutting him out. Mom could go do other mom things and let this older sibling fall in love with the baby, by talking to him and sharing a special moment.
I remember having these kinds of conversations with my son when he was that age. Treasure these moments, they're precious. He's in his forties now and our conversations are just as detailed
What an absolutely gorgeous baby, so much love for his mum in his face and he's picking up her love in every word and movement and so wants to converse with her, what a beautiful pair they are.
Thank you for being so gentle and kind with your baby. Because of it, he trusts you completely. Some of the videos I see with parents and babies need to be used to convict them of child abuse. Yours is a delight.
Baby clearly understands. "Did you get something to eat?" Baby lights up and squeals. Clearly he has heard these important words before and understands. A+
A super-mom!!! Showing the baby how to take turns, being empathetic, providing lots of new words and using so much paralanguage! This video is a great resource to teach about language development.
How sweet! I remember when my sons were this age and would “talk” to me like that. They are all grown now, time goes by soooo fast. How I wish I could turn back time to the days they were all babies again! The bond between a mother and her baby is so very special.
Lady.... You are the best momma in the whole world. Keep it up. Keep talking to your sweet little kiddo. Most adorable Video I have ever come across. May God bless you both.
I hope at his age now - 9 - that he appreciates what a wonderful loving mom he has. And now he can tell her! I did the same with my son and my daughter...and we're still talking 30 yrs in! 💖💖👍💜💜
I remember doing this with my son. When it was time to wash dishes or vacuum etc I would place him on the floor/baby blanket in front of a large wall mirror and he would have a conversation with himself talking and laughing. Definitely way better than in front of a TV.
If this was'nt the cutest conversation between mom and baby. No baby talk. My compliments to you Mom. He was so focused. I loved watching and hearing you both. Made my day. 😊. Blessings to the family. Aloha! 💞🙏👼
I get choked up when I see mommy and baby together, my son is now 30 and I want to know where time went? He used to crawl up into my lap, I remember he and I sitting and having breakfast together and he trying so hard to say mama at 4 months. I want that time back I want to relive every single moment as if it were new again. I never thought in my life I would know a love like this I'm grateful that God granted it to me and it will never be taken forgranted. All my love mom
BEAUTIFUL ! Both my children responded to my husband and myself in this same manner, and we spoke to them in a similar manner. It really works even though the infants may be responding to you tone of voice, your smile and enjoying your company; it’s all communication!
So interesting conversation: The baby trying to tell s.thing appears very conscious of the temporary impossibility to explain himself clearly!! What a awesome dare!
Look at those eyes taking it all in while that little mind processes everything. It’s amazing to think that everything he will ever need in this life he already has. ( no I’m not talking about the material world). Beautiful bubba, sweet vid.
Once this little guy starts talking she will never shut him up. He has such a bubbly personality, it will be there forever. My daughter Megan was just like this and she spoke sentences before she was 14 months old. She read by age 3. And she tied the shoelaces for her entire nursery school class of 18 at 3.5 years old. Now an adult she has been very successful.
He is so adorable. I talked to a 3 mo old baby girl like that and she talked so much. Her parents were so surprised. Thank you for talking to him like he is so intelligent. He is so fun.
This is exactly how my family has traditionally talked back and forth with our babies... brings back fond and loving memories. Best of all things to you and yours =))
This is the cutest baby I've ever seen ❤️. Absolutely adorable. I would love to see the reaction, now that this baby is nine years old. I love how he keeps grabbing onto momma's hand.
When my one son was about 2/3 months old - I was sitting waiting in a room at a hospital - where you went for advice on breastfeeding, & had your baby weighed etc. My son was lying in my arms, his face & eyes were fixated on my face & eyes. For about half an hour I talked to him & he also made noises, trying to talk. I actually lost all sense of where I was, & the other mums & babies. We were totally wrapped up in our own little world. I did not speak baby talk either. It was a precious time I will never forget. He never took his eyes off me, he didn't cry or wriggle he just lay in my arms & kept 'talking' & I responded.
Lovely to see her interacting with the baby, we should talk to babies. I just wish she would have reacted to the other child as well. They all need attention.
The mom could definitely have stopped talking to the baby for a minute and listened to the other child. It wouldn't have ruined anything. She's not filming a big budget movie.
@@TheWeibell people love to find fault where there is none. It’s nut about a big budget movie it’s about time well be spent and focus. Baby gets his mind to. Why not⁉️. The older child already talking can wait. When you have multiple children , they have to learn to share and take turns. Mom cannot be all things to everyone all at the same time. That’s why it’s called family. Dad is there, too.
I miss those conversations with my babies....and now even their babies have outgrown this. 😢 I'm pretty sure I won't live long enough to have those conversations with my great grandbabies, so thanks for sharing this. 🙂💜
I am 63 yrs old. This video is in my Top 10 of all time. This child is a Gift from God, we all know it. This little baby is going to Change The World 🌎🍭
This is absolutely precious.. My mother had 8 babies and she would talk to them, sing to them.. dance with them in her arms.. She was a real professional mom.. I'm glad to see that she was not alone..
