In today’s episode of Talking Cameras, I am sitting down with Lee A. Johnson. The British-born programmer and photographer lives in a tiny ski village in the Swiss Alps. There, he captures mountainous scenes with his Hasselblad X-Pan, shoots reportages and other long-term projects with his Hasselblad cameras or is out and about with his 4x5 Toyo field camera.
Lee started working on a variety of fantastic projects over the years. For instance, he visited Monaco four times for his long-term project Formula Non that focuses on what’s happening around the famous Formula One race tracks around the world.
Lee has been published online and in magazines, and has self published his own projects; he has had exhibitions and sells his prints online and in a local gallery.
Let’s take a closer look at his cameras and approach as a photographer.
