The abrasive wounds self inflicted upon the darkness that was hurting
There are things I have seen which I now hide away in order to remain sane
I came back after crawling through the pity of a sensitive heart torn to pieces
You Will Never Know how dark my path was & what it did to me....
Suffice to say, keep pretending you claim to understand what I went through
But we all have our battles in life & some would say love is unkind, but true love cannot die
There is no selfishness in the story being told, only brief moments of sanity & a reason to stay
You Will Never Know until you finally sit down & find the answers in my longing gaze
