I appreciate the permission given for playing/sketches of things that may never lead to a quilt! It definitely rubs me the wrong way as I want everything to have a purpose! But I appreciate making something for yourself first to inspire to craft for others.

so very interesting to hear you all. thanx for sharing! I am not a musician but i have a lot of them around me, in my life and i find the same thing for them...in regards to community. it is so helpful to have other musicians to play with, to discover new "tricks" or methods and to simply become better. i suppose this might be true with all things in life. we simply NEED others. cheers!
