@@tomgreen2737 we did beat them. But your not just fighting Afghanistan, your fighting, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, parts of Birmingham. Its not a country your fighting , its a fucked up ideology.
@@goodyeoman4534 Thank you SO much, I'm a member of the GWT and donate regularly. I can offer a link if you can't find it online. They keep in contact with you and tell you what your donations are used on, so far I have paid for 5 cataract operations and also purchased items from the store which is also used to support them. I also get a magazine sent to my door with updates. Thank you.
HMG need to tread very carefully according to their fellow veterans in the latter pages of this banter laden thread containing the bits MSM have chosen to ignore: www.arrse.co.uk/community/threads/not-another-gurkha-hunger-strike.305717/
@@henryjames5663 Ask the government who ordered them there. Tell us why you switch the topic to the UKs foreign policy when there was no mention of that by me?
Yes the ghurkas should have full pensions and be allowed too live in the uk if they so wish brave men everyone one of them i salute them god bless them ✌️🇬🇧
@@henryjames5663 there's a difference between being a fascist and just being a twat. I'm afraid farage is just a twat. But good on you for watching peaky blinders.
@@henryjames5663 Would you vote for Hitler, who was a Jew-hater like your pal Corbyn? Two can play your ludicrous game. If you care to look at what is happening in Europe at the moment, you might realise not only was Farage right, they are following his exact same ideas on mass, uncontrolled, illegal migration. But don't expect your 'impartial' BBC to be reporting it.
If I was Rusty I would be despondent, disgusted and disappointed with the horizons to which my country is heading…hold on!…yes, I do feel despondent, disgusted and disappointed with the directions my country is taking. I do wish that We Citizens would actively organise revolt against that which threatens our already thinly veiled Democracy.
I've had an idea upon this subject. Did you see the uproar of the average man (guided by the media) surrounding the Super league idea? This is the kind of uproar we need to hear about many of the subjects that the MSM just whitewash as a given. The people who own the left and right sides of the media share a common goal and in the age of instant news from independent reliable sources of each persons choosing, we are all waking up slowly. We need to use the example of the super league to show this is exactly what is happening in our lives. Corporations swallowing up the small businesses. Online shopping swallowing up high streets. Its all heading one way. "The new Normal" Everyone just has to realise that what is going on in the world. The manipulation current of situations to increase wealth of the wealthiest and to usher in a "new normal". And that regardless of whether or not this was an accident or not, That's another story. Sign in with your mobile device to every public setting you enter to check if you are "cleansed", these are things coming to us all.
You couldn't make it up. The surviving gunman once he served his near 30 year prison sentence is now iving off benefits in this country. The UK has become a massive soft touch.
I was visiting my grandmother who lived just off Oxford street.. I heard it all. I so wanted to go but (quite rightly) wouldn’t let me. She said, you will sit right there while brave men do their job. I watched it all and have held you all in awe ever since.
well first you need some land to place it on and then you need to create/build/buy and erect a statue. I don't know your circumstances but I'll assume you do not have the means to do it alone, so begin a project to gather the means from like minded individuals. I will gladly donate my time and some money. what say you?
What has the colour of a person's skin got anything to do with serving your country , you are British whatever skin colour, racism is abhorrent in any shape or form
@@raymondsawyer8626 I say look around sir...what statues are they hell bent on toppling....oh I see, yes not statues or memorials too blacks or asians....maybe because our history has been made by the backs of the white man...or I this too uncomfortable for you....
@@henryjames5663 Obviously your amnesia is kicking in. What she did was to save the entire economy. Just look up 'Winter of Discontent 1978' to discover how Labour brilliantly managed the economy. They also, by the way, closed down far more coal mines that Margaret Thatcher ever did.
Chaotic mess. Well, the Tories, by their behaviour, would have made Maggie deeply ashamed and frustrated, that is true. But they got their in the end. Unlike your man Jeremy. Remember, the man who had opposed the EU all his life. Then as Labour leader supports Remain, then supports Leave again. "That's another fine mess you've gotten me into Jeremy!"
Love this talking pints section on GBNews. Some great guests for Nigel to interview to bring out the best of the characters who have made this country what it is today. We must not squander what grounding these people like Rusty have provided for our future. Great job Nigel. This section needs to be longer. Proper people proper news on the things that matter!

I absolutely admire the soldiers even on the psychotherapy ward it is always a pleasure to meet a former SAS veteran and why do I think Biden is Washington DC Dementia Central? He hasn't got a clue how many soldiers in places from Manchester to Middlesbrough came back with PTSD and Psychosis to Schizophrenia as a result of fighting alongside US forces. The last week has been devastating 😢
What has happened in Afghanistan is on Joe Biden. He did not even inform his NATO allies. The British, Australian and French are going around searching for their citizens and evacuating them. It us almost as though Joe was taking orders from his Chinese masters, who will now waltz into Afghanistan and build mines for all those rare earth minerals that are so abundant in that country.
These last comments about the Ghurkas & security, speak volumes about the way the UK government looks at both the military and the security of this country! Totally disinterested in the welfare & wellbeing of both!
Kids have no idea, they are more interested in making stupid faces on tiktok and not learning their own history. Can I ask? What does British history teach these days? Ideology?
@@dcasteaux9181 when you were a teen you were interested in foreign policy ? Why do people say dumb shit. Most teenagers regardless of generation are into the in thing and it usually is not foreign policy.
At the time, when the BBC cut back to the coverage from the 1980 Embassy World Snooker Championship, the snooker commentator said "from one Embassy to another"!
I remember the Embassy assault,so well.I was an 8 year old watching the news with my dad and great uncle in awe.I never heard of the S.A.S until then.I got the S.A.S action man later on!!😁
Outstanding. Iranian embassy was just one op in a very long and prolific career. As for the Gurkhas, hard call. If you give them the same pension and pay as British soldiers then recruitment will surely dry up. At the end of the day the MOD does not give a toss about heritage they care about cost and cost saving. Look what they did to all the Scottish regiments and English, Green Jackets, Highlanders, Blackwatch on and on and on, all gone.
