Hi, both the birds use the hideaway thing but only to play in, neither use it for sleeping. They fly free during the day and their favorite place to sleep is in the folds of the sheet i hang on the pelmet to protect it. TY for the comment.
Yes, hand reared from having no feathers. They fell down a ventilation shaft in an old building I was working in, no hope of replacing them in the nest so had to rear them. :-)
I have a two year old starling and need some help/tips on caring for him.. Is there any way we could chat about how you care for your birds. I am so in love with this pet that I am desperate to talk to others to make sure I am doing the right things for him.. I have some serious concerns for his health at the moment.
