Dang, love this. Starts out basic enough for someone not too experienced to have something to work on, yet gets tough enough that I have some technical issues to work on after 12+years of playing. That final example tripped up my right hand quite a bit, gonna have to work on that one pretty slow and work on economy of motion

Hi I only just discovered you!!!! love all the topics that you've covered (only watched 3 so far). Will have to carve out some time to practise! I'm interested to find out why you sometimes use a 4 string and sometimes a 5 string? I switched to a 5 string about 6 months into learning bass so I'm more comfortable with a 5 string. I can play a 4 string, I have to really concentrate and don't get to really enjoy the music haha

the grooves sounded great. Somehow they have a singing, a melody character. Normally is not that easy to get a melody character with only chord notes.

Can grove be taught? Personally I feel it's something you either have or don't. If you have it you can become a musician. If you don't then just stick to listening music. Just my thoughts
