Patrick Johnston of The Province stops by to detail his day with the "other" Canucks, as he was out with Rick Tocchet at UBC yesterday, chatting with the coach and the guys who didn't play last night, like JT Miller and Brock Boeser. Tocchet gave PJ a little insight into who's impressed him, and a personal sports career that we hadn't yet heard about from the bench boss.

'its vague'. No sheet, its a knee injury. I damaged my knee 5 months ago and its still not healed. I work on it but i'm not a hockey goalie. I have no idea if or when it will ever heal, yeah its vague. Ever damage your knee before?

My hot take: Lekkerimaki is traded in january to shore up the defense. His value will be high still but there's no room for him on the canucks.

Hogs might be the one getting traded .. If you trade hogs + mid round draft pick for a number 3 defenceman AND end up singing boes to a team friendly deal that would be ideal
