Brian Marshall I did the same thing, and I don't feel any pain while walking in a boot. I don't have an air boot, but I don't think that would change anything. did you tighten the straps enough?
@@hannahhirai7393 I'm currently in a aircast boot since the 13th of May I broke my ankle and had to have screws in I start my therapy on the 28th of this month my ankle is getting stronger everyday I can put weight on it already .... hope your recovering well :)
Im in a tall walking boot with full weight baring. I fractured my ankle on the 11th of May. They make it look easy walking in this but its so difficult to even go to work and not bump into anyone or anything.
I'm currently using it to heal a wound from previous Ankle Surgery so the two parts of the skin opening will reconcile & heal properly as the ankle joint maintains a fixed Position. My question is ? What is best type of sick to wear bc I sweat 💦 a lot & walk a lot at work w this boot. Causing more pain 🔥 than usual. I go back in 10 days for the for free evaluation.
Is the body weight still on the foot or does the tall walking boot transfer the body weight to the lower leg, thereby relieving the injured foot from the large body weight force???
Keith Eshelman I currently have one and yes i feel weight being out on my foot. If it’s a non weight bearing injury they give you crutches to use with it at first.
I have a different brand walking boot but this tutorial helped me figure out how to deflate the air, nonethless! Ugh, thank you. It was getting uncomfortable.
Im currently in one of these boots now. These are for fractures and severe sprains. I would recommend this one, but you will have to get used to walking in it. Its been 3 days for me out of a 3 week waiting period. The air compressed helps relieve some of the pain. But I definitely think this will be the one for bad ankle sprains.
I’ve had mine for a week so far. Had the injury for two weeks though (parents thought it was a bad sprain first week) and my problem is I don’t have any shoes tall enough to match the boot that I won’t end up tripping in 😂 but it sucks because my knee is always bent and it feels like walking with one sneaker and one high heel.
