The heights of the Primarchs can vary depending on the source material and artistic interpretations, but the general consensus is that they are towering figures compared to regular humans and even Space Marines. These beings are larger and more powerful than anyone else and are considered demigods among humanity. The heights of the Primarchs vary, but they are generally around 10 to 12 feet tall if taken in mean variation. As with the other videos, grumble all you want in the comments below, 40k like the immaterium and also you and I’s opinions are subjective. So here we will include both the primarch heights pre heresy and also as demon princes of the chaos gods.

It always irritates me that in "Fulgrim" it says that Ferrus Manus is a full head taller than his brothers Vulcan and Corvus Corax. Probably just a case of discontinuity because in most other sources Vulkan is significantly larger than all the others

That sounds pretty weird, I wouldn't count on it being canon. Also being a head taller than both Vulkan(who's huge) and Corvus(who's probably more average primarch height) doesn't make sense.

In 'the unremembered empire', the lion and guilliman are very similar in size, with the lion slightly taller, with conrad taller than both (chap 16 for conrad size comparison) In 'Scars', its said that jaghatai is taller than mortarion (Chap 20)

I've kept track and have the actual real heights and the books where it says it Alpharius Omegon: 8.5ft they have the tallest astartes too-book legion Lion, guilliman, and sanguinius are all the same at "just under 3meters"- unremebered empire Konrad is just above 11 foot being a whole head taller than lion, sanguinius and guilliman.- unremebered empire. Vulkan is barely taller than cruze with no armor so he is 11ft with no armor on- vulkan lives Horus is the same height as sanguinius pre hersey- book war without end Still havent read all the books but thats the legitimate height of those primarchs The khan is actually taller than morty- book the scars when they fight and also khan is taller but less broad than magnus same book

One thing I don't get: does the actual flesh and blood body of Horus grow larger after he turns traitor? Or does he just put on a massive new set of custom Terminator armor to rival the Emperor in size? Do the powers of the Warp make his body grow?

In the book deliverance lost Corax is said to be taller than Dorn, though not as heavily built (Deliverance Lost). As corax and konrad are practically twins they should be a similar size. Alpharius literally looks up to all his brothers. The Lion is said to be taller than Russ (Wolf king), and Robute (the unremembered empire) and 'one of the taller primarchs". Angron is said to be a comparable height to Horus, but massively broad (Galaxy burns) and Magnus is said to be a match in stature to Vulkan (The fury of Magnus) who was said to be as tall as Horus is when Horus wears terminator armour. Magnus is also said to be taller than the emperor (The first Heretic). Lastly Ferrus is said to be a head taller than both Vulkan and Corax (Fulgrim), which should make him the largest primarch.

I figure he's just up to similar activities as other characters that have been in the Warp for ages without any indication that they have been corrupted by Chaos like Corvus Corax, Leman Russ, or Kaldor Draigo; you know, hunting down Chaos Astartes warbands and Drukhari and daemons and such. Just because the writers haven't chosen to bring him back yet doesn't mean he's dead or anything, they just haven't decided what to do with him.

In the 28th book of the Horus Heresy it says that Jaghatai is slightly taller than Mortarion, but not as havily built. In Dark Imperium: Godblight Mortarion is descripted as 10 m tall in his demon form.

The Black Library need to issue some official lore on this. As I think this is probably quite accurate, but the books give contradicting information. Part of the engima of 30K/40K I suppose. But I'm always looking at random shit like lamposts trying to workout how tall a primarch is when im driving listening to the books.

Angron is taller than that. He is the size of a warhound titan in daemonic form, as stated in Emperors Gift. So he's about 56 foot tall. Also his mortal height has never been mentioned, other than saying he was as tall as Lorgar but the novel was referring to the difference between a Primarch and a SM.

100% you can easily tell that from the miniture scalings. He's sort of hunched over some and still towers over everything. Not sure if 56 feet is accurate, I feel closer to 40' or so. His base is a little higher than Guilliman's but if he straightened out his posture he'd easily be 3 Guilliman's and then a little on top.

Jaghatai should technically be above Mortarion in the height scale. In the 28th Horus Heresy book Scars by Chris Wraight, Jaghatai is described as being “a bit taller” compared to Mortarion, who is “broader and wider” It fits into their characteristics really. Jaghatai was a lean and swift killing machine, whereas Mortarion is more of a bulwark, even more so as a Daemon Prince of Nurgle

Love to think the emperor of mankind stands roughly 36feet... Same with in elden ring... The giants looking down at the empyrean's like humans and dwarfs... And empyrean's doing the same except looking down at humans... And titans do this to the giants... While dwarfs and very specific gnomes.. One more thing... I like to imagine giants stand roughly 60 to 90 feet... While empyrean's are anywhere between 25 and 50... With radagon being at the 50 threshold when his body stopped growing as the power continued to grow... Kinda like how the emperor stepped out into the spot light at about 36 feet and has remained the same size sense just advancements in environment lead to him looking small on the golden thrown... And back to empyrean's... Mikella was born absolutely tiny in comparison... Standing roughly 16 feet... And was planning to grow to around 26 feet to accommodate for his power... But probably ended up a giant or titan being tanted by the omens blood known as moghwin... Yeah you know that dragon in demon souls... Make it an empyrean md call it mikella.. Of course model change is going to be needed in order for it to match... Same thing with either multiple transitions in environment like dark souls 3 and the optional tree boss... A vague representation... But a representation non the less

(bear with me on this spelling and interpret the incorrect words.... talk to text). Good job on the research cause the height / weight are these guys is revealed towards the end of the Heresy novels. I read the entire Horus Heresy series back to back followed by just recently finishing the siege of Terra Series. I'm going to take a break from Warhammer for a while, lol BUT..... Right around book 45 in the series is when Constantin valdor Stan's next to Lehman Ross and he is taller than Russ. But Valdor was impressed at how thick, heavy and muscular Russ is. So Lehman Russ is probably around 9.5 feet. Constantin is 10 feet.... The Russ is super strong, very thickly muscled. Intimidating looking (according to valdor) Vulkan is an absolute unit, far larger and heavier than everybody else. Also the toughest and strongest of all. Also everybody knows not to fight him. It's mentioned several times over the course of the books Horus is big. And he's really good at fighting. All of the primarchs know that sanguineus (sp) and Vulcan are the best fighters. Even the purple dude one.... I can't remember his name right now. Lol. The good-looking one. Vulkan Sanguineus Horus Khan The purple one .....theeen the rest are about the same except Lorgar. He's not a sissy though, before he became a demon he could get after it too. Apparently becoming a demon did not help him. He's not as good of a fighter anymore Oh!!!! I always get Gulliman and Dorn mixed up for some reason but I know rogal dorn is about a foot-and-a-half taller than Constantine. I actually don't know how big gulliman is. I don't remember any mention pf his size....

Are there any sources for these? It's said space marines are between 6ft 6" (there's actually a case of this being said, can't remember which book it was but a space marine was referred to as shorter, at only 2m/6'6") and 7.5ft.

They would barely taller than me. Space marines tower over regular size men. Maybe regular men are only 4 ft tall. I doubt it.

@theredditexperience1 Oh, I always thought that space marines were 2,20m custodes and terminators 2,50 and primarchs 2,80 (the shorter ones). Also, I don't think people count the cowlings when counting the height of terminators. Like, if you see the AoD marines next to leviathan terminators they are a head taller than the beakies (without counting the cowling)

The only way this makes sense if you take what individual authors decided on. Its a know fact that they have strayed way of canon both on purpose and for various of their own ideas. Leman Russ as an example is decribed in every case (except some of the heresy books) as a figure that towered over his brothers. He stands head and shoulders taller than dorn and roboute and is a head taller than the lion in the lion and the wolf. the only primarch that rivaled him in height was ferrus (also mentioned in the heresy novels) and magnus. the idea that vulkan somehow ballooned into this bearmoth i dont understand where that came from. He reaches Ferrus to the elbow in the early heresy books. And was always considered like angry angron short but wide as a dumptruck.

In the book, 'wolf king' the lion is said to be taller than leman, and also that Guilleman (unremembered empire) as well as being one of the taller primarchs

That's not Fulgrim anymore. In the Horus Heresy he was in a deep regret of what he have done but he was possessed by a demon. In the end the demon gained control, went through a transformation to a demon prince and Fulgrims intellect was destroyed or looked away in the demon price to look at the mess he created in agony without the chance to do anything. In the end it's a Slaanesh demon price (or even greater demon tbh) that bursted out of Fulgrim body, not Fulgrim itself.

Do you realize how much 3 meters high is? Your stated sizes would make them larger than dreadnoughts. An ordinary Marine is on average 220 centimeters tall. The tall marine is 240 cm. Most Primarchs look next to marines like marines look next to regular people. So they are between 260-300 cm. Angron is of similar height to Horus, but is described as much bulkier. Horus, exalted by the gods of chaos, actually grew, so he could be over 3 meters tall in terminator armor.

When Corax fought Lorgar in the warp. It was said that Lorgar was 3x the height of a marine. Also, that Corax was a similar height… it is very specific. A standard marine (non Primaris) is between 7 and 8 feet. It’s possible Corax, like Lorgar, is 21ft - 24ft tall.
