Why is there no monument to the Holy Prince Vladimir in the list (in Moscow)? Its height is 17.5 meters. And also the Monument to Peter I is not mentioned - it is one of the highest monuments in Russia. The total height of the monument is 98 meters, the height of the figure of Peter is 18 m.
Fun fact: in the real life Ukrainian statue has a Soviet coat of arms on the shield because it was built by the Soviet Union back in the communist times. Now Ukrainians decided to substitute it with the Ukrainian coat of arms (an ancient Russian symbol from prince Vladimir). Yet it has occured that the Ukrainian industry is unable to produce this coat of arms itself. So it is decided that the steel for it will be imported from abroad which will cost close to 1 million USD.
Big lie about the Ukrainian trident. Never it was Russian. Russia did not exist up to 1721 when Peter I ordered to rename Moscovy, or Tartaria. Prince Vladimir was a Kievan prince, and his country that existed on contemporary Ukrainian lands was Rus of Kyiv... Peter I attempted to steal that Kievan history to give some historical value to his obscure kingdom that did not exist up to the XVI cent. and was dominated and administeted by Zolorya Orda that derived from the Tataro-Mongolian Empire of Chighuiz Chan. This Empire resided in Astrakan and Kazan ares up to the end of the XV th cent. The symbol of Russia, eagle, is shown on its emblem... It comes from tataro-mongolian period of dominance in Moscovy that is also known under its second name of Tartaria. Russian historians are known for their inventive tendencies to satisfy the vanity of their rulers... All the so called Russian history is a complete fantasy...
