Sir, excellent utility, very details explanations and very kind to solve error in downloading CSV file. Highly appreciated and looking forward for next video.
HI sir, Data Export from 'tally' to 'csv' and tally to ' mssql server' are sucessfully exporting, but there missing some columns like[trn_voucher file(table) Amount,Tax Amount, missing ], is therw any solution for this?
watched your video about odbc to extract data from Tally to Excel. I followed your instructions and used the Java file you provided to extract the data, but I'm having an issue. The run file closes as soon as it opens, and I didn't get the `error.log` file you mentioned. Can you help me troubleshoot this? Thank you
This utility uses XML method of fetching data where I have pulled inventory collection too (trn_inventory file). But ODBC method does not support fetching of transaction for period / range. I will say, hold on as I will be pulling inventory data too in the next few parts of these video series
Real-time is not possible since Tally does provide any triggers for change in data for external integration. You can go for incremental sync by this utility which you can automate to run every 10-15 min, available for database (not CSV), which I will say is close to real-time
Using XLOOKUP you can link parent of ledger with name of group. Don't worry, this will come in the next part of this video series when I start with Dashboard.
Totally agree that multiple ledgers will have common parent (or group). That's what I explained in previous comment that name field of group table is unique, so you need to use that field to like up with parent field of ledger table in XLOOKUP. Even in the voucher & accounting this scenario came. I will insist to hold on for my next video, which will clarify this. Don't worry we are going to handle these things for dashboard.
