Did you just UNEB? What's UNEB got to do with elections and presidency? Any ugandan through Electoral Commission can ask for your credentials if you are vying for the top most job on land. Presidents work for us we entrust them with our wealth and resouces we need to know whether anyone vying for that office can manage our country'sresources well and represent our country very well abroad through his foreign policy. UNEB's job is to certfy that, the person vying for that office is got some sound education background and that's it. The rest with Election they fall under the docket of the electoral commission. What Tamale meant was the yard stick to qualify for any public office in Uganda is a UNEB certificate. You have one from A'level on going, u can seek for any electoral office.

@@robertssentamu3767 At lero naawe. If i have a UNEB certificate why would UNEB ask me for my credentials ? its theirs and my name is their in their data base. Its now matter of to who it may concern or whoever is interested in my achievements, unless their some descrapancies, that's when UNEB Will come in or ask you to prove who you are? Are you the person they have in their system, Or are your credentials an equivalent of what is required?Thats it. UNEB doesn't need my credential,cos it's them who awarded them to me. It's like saying the driving licensing body will ever question your driving skills yet they are the ones that certified you to drive. Its the police or any other authority to do that. The former will only come in to comfirm your claim that they allowed you to drive and it's only when police contact them to liase with the info you have presented. That's it. Don't get me wrong, UNEB may do inspection on behalf of Electoral commission, perhaps the Ec has no knowledge of credential inspection or experts, so it employs the services of UNEB.
