White or non Black American women wear weaves more then women of color. Tamar states her husband used to date lots of blondes so she gives it to him.. Being able to change your hair to fit you mood is fun. Im natural but will rock a saw-in if the mood strikes. I hope it's not me "selling out" but if ppl where happy with themselves they wouldn't care about others ppl hair styles so passionately

Not every black person who wears their hair straight or wears weaves hate their natural hair or their heritage, or is trying to be white. My mom is part Liberian (African) and Lebanese (Middle-Eastern), but she grew up with her mom in the village of Liberia. She had mixed girl features with her hair being super curly. She said she loved her hair but preferred it less curly. Now, mind you she knew nothing about white culture where she lived, so can you say she was trying to be white?? No, it's just her preference. That doesn't mean she hated her culture and wanted to conform to the white culture because my mom is the most African woman you will meet. Why is it that when white girls get perms to make their hair curly, or go tanning, we don't accuse them of hating their culture and conforming to black culture? A person's hair does not define them. Why can't we accept the fact that these women want to wear their hair straight because they prefer it that way. Damn

Naming the wigs brings back so many memories. We were kids and we would name my moms wigs. One day my youngest brother was mad at her and he said to us blah blah blah "in her Daniel Boone wig". The wig was a bouffant with a pony tail in the back. After that it was on! There was Diahann Carroll, the twiggy and when she bought three wigs that we thought looked just alike, I named them the Supremes. LOL

I remember when their show started, they seemed kind of humble. Now they act like they're all bad. Especially Tamar. She acts ridiculous. So sad. And to see how other people treat her like if she's a queen. Whatever.

Some of the comments I'm reading about the Braxton's wearing "White Girl Hair" is really ridiculous because for your information people, the quality of hair they are likely wearing is Indian Remy hair straight from the heads of women in India. The only shame here is that most of the human hair women wear today comes from India where the girls had their hair stolen while they were asleep or it came from temples where Indian people would sacrifice their hair for blessings not knowing it would be sold on the black market to people in the U.S. for 100s and 1000s of dollars. Women of all races with the exception of black women naturally have straight hair and straight-wavy to straight curly hair combinations. So why are the Braxton's being labeled as wanting to be white because they choose to wear wigs and weave that are straight, straight -wavy or straight curly? Also many women of all races at some point or another have worn hair extensions, wigs, etc at least once to enhance their beauty or make their hair look more glamorous and fuller. So stop stereotyping black women when they choose to do the same, it is ignorant.

Notice how all their wig names were NAMES OF WHITE GIRLS "taylor" "tammy fay" even Bethany!! lol There's absolutely nothing wrong with wearing wigs/weaves/extensions, but clearly these women are wearing hair that emulate white women. I say wear extensions,weaves, or wigs that MATCH your own HAIR TEXTURE. And try to stay in touch with the hair that grows out of your head. Other races are not as fake as black ppl with their hair. I also suggest black men to start embracing natural black beauty as well as dark skin women so that our women don't think they have to look biracial/white to be attractive. It's CLEARLY A SELF HATRED ISSUE.

Wow... you all are crazy. My hair is natural but I didn't become natural because I wanted to feel more blk. I did it so my wigs could fit better. I have been wearing wigs since I was 18, I'm 30 now. Wen u wear wigs u have to relax ur hair more. So I went natural so I wouldnt have to. More of a convenience. But I dnt think blk women wear weaves to be white. Cuz a lot come with that. Like wen ur braided under ur weave the scalp itches frm being covered. But wigs jus pull off. Yea I kno to much.
