Beyonce had a country record in 2016 which she perfomed at the CMAS with The Chicks and she also perfomed with The Sugarland in 2007 for a country version of Irrepleacable at the AMAs. Does K Michelle even have a country album out ? I don't think so

Let’s be honest, Tamar’s popularity grew due to the BFV reality show and what she displayed on the show made me dislike her and she will always be in the shadow of her sister the talented Toni Braxton. She shades EVERYONE, who is doing better than her fan wise. Not doubt that Tamar can sing, it's her personality that holds her back, she has a lot of fans also, but it's just something about her that isn't getting her to the finish line. I'll NEVER forget how she treated Tracy when she was with Vince and tearing Tracy and her husband down, AND ALL of them refused to film with her on the last BFV. Actually, I love K Michelle 's country sound, and she has several songs on the country circuit, single and duets. She has even been on country awards and at the Nashville center. Isn’t it “country music” and not “country black music”…. This is what they’re trying to combat and she just played into division. I think Tamar shouldn’t have spoke on it at all because she didn’t have enough respect for the country artist to know there names. She said she knew the question was coming, she should’ve been prepared.

Like you said, “Unnecessary and corny.” I always say it and I will say it again…Tamar needs to sit down somewhere and really, truly heal 🙏🏾. What happened to her friendship with Tiny? Nene? Lashawn Daniels’ wife? There are countless others. As grown, grown women (especially black women), we need to be super careful and intentional about how we speak of each other on public platforms, as black women are attacked and unprotected enough in the world. It’s like getting back to the basics: If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.
