Toni’s used to being a lead and solo singer, she doesn’t have to harmonize. Meanwhile all the other sisters were doowop pop pop chicks for Toni, so they know how to quickly harmonize and switch notes and keys.
I think that's PART of it. But hey her voice was made to stand out and shine. She's forgets her notes but when she know her notes! Oh babbbbbbby it's on. Mama E just have to be there to make her sing with them.. she was the soloist for years until her sisters did her background and more....
Man they all sing incredible. Great harmony. I think Toni needs to sing with them more though she always seems out of place when she sings with them. Either not into it or just yeah, not into it lol. It's also a shame that Trina doesn't like R&B cuz she'd be hella great at it. In my opinion she is kind of wasting her time singing pop music, but I get it's her passionately favorite genre to sing and listen to. Even though I think they're all great, I think Trina has an even more polished voice than Towanda who I think is also a fantastic singer. Tamar got it going on though with that soprano damn. I love her voice. Girl should be teaching Beyonce Knowles how to sing. She can back it up with that voice.
@@MissAmeriNegro NOT IN A MILLION YEARS .......Keke wyatt sounded a mess singing that song...both her and Tamar don't have Rhythmic timing to phrase those notes in the stratosphere so HELL NAH.......
Carl Briggs they didnt feel like singing .... Tamar beging the soprano always sings the highest note in the harmonies .. So she picked a low note first and and someone else would have to sing the higher part(traci or trina)
Does anyone have a better quality clip of 0:42 thats not from wetv. I cant find one and I love everything about it. Wetv isn't available in Canada so it won't let me see it 😢 😕
Toni was born to be a soloist! I can always count on her to have the wrong note when they harmonize. Love & light to the Braxton family. We love you Traci
The song is "Steal Away", a negro spiritual by Wallace Wllis in 1862. Hear it on RU-vid by Mahalia Jackson or the Fisk Jubilee Singers. Lots of artists sing their version of it.
@@Bloooooooooooppp tamar was very sharp...I wish trina came I'm on with 3rd being an alto and traci come in 2nd in 2nd soprano...toni definitely came in too early which probably caused traci to sound flat...just my opinion
Honestly like families that do things together can fall in sync with each other the best. I don't jam on the drums with anyone else like i do when I'm jamming with my brother and mom on guitar and piano, there is like a hole when one is missing.
