I think she's real. Val is used to the hood. He's from Brooklyn, and so he probably thought she would be a little more extra. Tamar reputation is known to have a smart mouth, but people like Tamera says otherwise. They always says she's the most sweetest person. So I think he was shocked that she wasn't this persona everyone accused her of being. But don't get me wrong, I still think she's a little hood or a little extra. That's just Tamar. Her personality haven't changed since season 1 of the Braxton's and that's what I like about her; although I do disagree with her at times.
+Jeannette Draper Yea that's true. But that's what also made me think is she just doing it for tv? and in rl she is more like toni? Because the only one of her sisters who has a country accent is traci. The rest don't. Not sure where she got it from since they grew up in Maryland if I remember correctly. Cause there parents don't even have those accents.
+inukagome10 if I remember correctly from Braxton Family Values, Traci is the only one who stayed in Maryland, so her accent would be different than say Toni and Tamar who have made way to LA. Trina went to northern Michigan (where they tend to have Canadian accents) and that's where I believe she developed her quirky way of pronouncing certain words.
I thought she had a fade until she started tossing that ponytail. Lol JK, but dark hair looks good on her makes her look more human and less of a puppet, and if her second album never sees the light of day maybe she can play Toni in Lifetimes upcoming biopic.

I only watch dancing with the stars because of Tamar. I'm an extreme dedicated watcher this season. Once she's off, I'll stop n forget about it until some one else I like, for example , another co host from the real enters.
