As someone who doesn’t follow fashion, at least not since it’s gotten incredibly silly, this collection was STUNNING. This is what high fashion should be. Bravo 👏
Tamara Ralph gave us a Spring/Summer show with a modern twist. The wide brim hats, the metallic finish of the floral appliques on the dresses, the rib cage inspired corset and the gold tassles. It was very much inspired by the silhouettes of the fashionistas of the 30s and 40s but added a sort of architectural finnesse with the art deco pieces found on the black suit ensemble and gold, flowing dresses that looked soft in the front yet firm and put together in the back with the smallest of details that bring the garment to a whole new meaning. One of her intriguing pieces was the silver dress with roses applied to the waist and decolletage area. I feel as though she took inspiration from the Renaissance Tour as that was the main colour of most of the show outfits. Silver tends to be a very cold, rigid and distant colour. But that dress screamed fluid, malleable, silver nymph or fairy. It was definetely my favorite piece and I am not a silver-tone person (gold is more up my alley). This goes to show that TR really used inspirartion out there and yet made it her own and made it understandable to the general public and not just fashion afficiandos. Absolutely stunning Ms.Ralph!!!😍👗🌹👏
I get the sensation that they are floating along in these exquisite gowns, a parade of majestic swans emerging from a lake to reveal their grace and beauty. I am left speechless, breathless, mesmerized, cast under their spell. 👏👏👏✨⭐️🌹💐💖
Honestly speaking if I was a Movie Star I would have called all my managers, P.R team and my stylists to book every outfit for my various public appearance. And be the brand ambassador for Tamara Ralph with a 25 million dollars a year contract for next 5 years and Tarama would have so impressed by my publicity that she would have put my contract on renewal for another 5 years and this time 30 million dollars a year. I am dreaming. ❤
FINALLY! Now this is fashion!! These designs are absolutely exquisite, mesmerizing, unique and literally breath taking. I watched this multiple times, I couldn’t get enough. These are dresses I would pinch every penny I had to buy, and wear this somewhere super fabulous. Well done Tamara and team. Stunning!!! ❤

Now the next collection would be absolutely beautiful and majestic with lavender dresses, red silk dresses and yellow 50’s style sundress in my opinion

Now this... is a brilliant collection. Rare for a season to look fabulous on the runway yet be 100% wearable as is. Some fresh ideas and beautiful fabrics and colors. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. And the innovative use of metals, blended in as fabrics, is interesting and different.

I love that Tamara came out with her staff. I have never seen a designer do that before. I also loved the white dress at the very end. So fantastical and elegant. I typically like more modest wedding dresses but I would definitely wear this dress at my wedding! I still think it’s classy enough to wear.
