Tambourine is one of King Piccolo's sons and is charged with finding and killing the best fighters in the world. NOTE: This video is made with non-profit. Credit goes to Toei Animation. Twitter: / desertwaifu Rumble: rumble.com/c/c...
@jlau9268 Three years after this, Goku has his peak clash in DragonBall. Against a new reborn version of Piccolo. And what a clash it was. It took all they got before Goku barely got the win. Since then, that mighty Namekian's evil has diminished, and he became a new ally, and even willing to babysit his granddaughter: Pan. ^^
Oh, that's a new one. The major time an aired anime caused a lot of those issues was that Pokémon ep featuring Porygon. Hundreds were diagnosed with epilepsy. They also had something spoofing that in the Simpsons: Battling Seizure Robots.
@jesusramirez2504 Yes. But before that, he was overthrown by Tambourine because he was low on stamina. Now that he had a meal before Yajirobe slayed Cymbal, he now had the strength and speed to kill him. Soon after that, Piccolo goes to face Goku despite having him outmatched that time. He was surprised how fast he could go and land blows on him. And concluded that at their current level, his minions were no match for him..
I always wondered if Tambourine killed that purple-haired Ranfan gal. She was listed as one of the many targets on the World Martial Arts Tournament image roster for Tambourine's mission to murder the martial artists, but they never showed her getting packed.
@@TheStickMachine It's basically retroactive storytelling. Basically explaining something that wasn't explained before bcuz you just didn't kno the reason and wanted to continue the story. Goku is weak but then he fights Tambourine, survived a near death encounter, and then fights Piccolo Daimao
Love how Tori said krillen was the strongest human,,at no point would Tien not body him in one tribeam,,, goes to show how much Tori didn't think about DB even while writing it
im just saying krillin wouldve easily put tambourine in his place no where near as good as goku but he was hungry and drained like goku after the tournament. Even goku got his shit pushed in the first time they fought tambourine. But when goku had food, tambourine was hardly a threat. Id say the krillin win was just timing. any other time krillin would be a far better fight
Respect to Giran for being the only fighter to actually make Tambourine work for his kill. He was still outmatched, but at least he got to put up some kind of defense.
Wrong. Yamcha was too. As ironic as that sounds considering what has been done to this boy in recent years but despite being injured he put up a fight and then Tamborine had to leave because his brother has been killed and Piccolo sent him to avenge Zimbel.
@@davidherrera9652 He’s everyone I guess. Imagine if the British one sounded like Zeno. Bro prob the father of toribot or something to sound like them all LMAO😂
When you realize he literally caved Krillin's skull in. I saw the x-rays about MMA fighter who took a knee to the forehead like that during a fight that was scarring to see LOL poor krillin got it worse
@@canontheory he was hungry. In the manga tambourine just kicked goku down and assumed he died from the fall. Here he can actually check if he's dead this time. But it might just be another one of those king piccolo cases where he's actually alive but his heart stopped beating
You forgot Yamcha. He went for Yamcha too, know it’s not canon but he was already about to go there in the manga. He would've gone there but was stopped because cymbal was killed. While in the anime, Tambourine makes it, battles and almost kills Yamcha but is called to see what happens with cymbal
Well I think he didn't count it because Yamcha didn't died[ Indeed it was close but wasn't killed......and for Goku is because he got killed by him *"Like his chapter ends"* ]
@@EmptyMan000freeza’s force probably has underpaid soldiers being forced to work for him. Piccolo is set for world domination. You do have a point, tambourine is so much more thorough at killing everyone even if raditz could kill tambourine in one punch
Damn Tambourine is such a menace he just straight up killed all of the martial artists especially that Wolfman fighter my god that scene was terrifying
Fun Fact: Tambourine shares the same English VA actor as Appule, Cui Cui, Burter, Imperfect Cell and Pui Pui. He also does various other voicelines for certain Frieza Soldiers, Saibermen and quite a lot of creature and monster noises.
Not sure how he would have faired against Tamourine, but he was just introduced. He fought Goku to a standstill, implying he was only a little weaker than Goku and Tenshinhan, maybe Master Roshi level. Then he killed Cymbal, the last demon that showed up, with one attack. Yajirobe may have thought he could actually take him.
At this point, Yajirobe would be fighting for his life as Tambourine wants to kill him too. With sword in hand, he'll defend himself until one or both dies.
@@king_bowser593 According to the Wiki, Nam was killed off screen. They went for everyone who was even in the tournament, I remember them killing bacterian who wasnt in the 22nd tournament.
8:00 wait he killed that one guy in the middle of a ring jn front of a audience after a match that was probably being broadcast. How could anyone not know who the killer is?
I actually flinched at Goku's beat down of Tambourine. Those hits were animated brutally. This is one of the rare times Goku was pissed and didnt play around
Very well put together there. Great nostalgia. I almost forgot about Tambourine's killing spree from those from the 1st & 2ndTenkaishi Budokai Martial Arts Tournament.
Powerlevel weren’t a thing back then, Z is a retcon in many ways and showed how poorly Toriyama cared for consistency. The growth alone is bs. All those years the major players needed to reach around 300 powerlevels and suddenly the skyrocketed into high 1000s and even more exponentially when reaching Namek.
Champa was a similar character to Mr. Satan since both one the martial arts tournament but tambourine killed him so easily Piccolo is vastly stronger than him (his son the current piccolo slightly more so) and even he was tweaking when he sensed Raditz Shows you just how outclassed Mr. Satan was
@@oli-qn4ge also tambourine was unlike any warrior that either him or goku have ever encountered. Krillin was also probably exhausted from the tournament.
Respect to Yajirobe at the end. He was absolutely ready to throwdown against Tambourine after he thought Goku was killed. It's a shame they turned him into a coward and a joke character after this because he easily should've been up there with Tien and Krillin as one of the strongest human characters.
Giran was the only one who put up a fight. I wished they had showed his fight with Nam. I guess they didn't want to show him getting destroyed again after having him being brutally beaten by Tien in the tournament.
@@Ihatemysis3 Nam was killed in the manga, but it happened onscreen and only metioned. Tambourine also killed other two fighters in the manga but their names weren't mentioned. Possibly Ranfan as her poster was next to Nam's.
He got stole the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament registry, as well as the one from the 21st. I imagine those have some sort of personal information which allowed him to track them down.
He stole the registration information from the world martial arts tournament. It has a picture of each fighter, their name, their address and any information he could probably use to track them down
@@hitkid2456 I assume Ali, the lady in the audience yelled "I love ur eyebrows" Ali was known as the Pretty Fighter also had nice eyebrows & called himself pretty also pamput has a Upstate accent like Ali
Once we saw how easily he took out Krillin everyone else on his list aside from Goku was already dead. If he can kill Krillin in a single hit then everyone else would be childs play.
And the subbed dialogue after the Chou Makohou attack... Goku: You're the fool! *shows up beside Tambourine* Did you think I couldn't dodge that? You're going to pay for killing Kuririn and Kinto-Un!
Part of me really wishes that more Dragonball characters made it over to DBZ. How awesome would it have been to see Nam, Giran, Bora, and Upa fight alongside the others when Vegeta and Nappa came to earth Then see them on King Kai's planet training.
Sadly for Tambourine, he was too egoistical and confident after trouncing a bunch of weaklings (at this point of DB anyway) that he was too off guard with Goku
What really makes these kills feel more brutal is how he takes most of them out with a strike attack. Usually we see characters get blown away by ki blasts so seeing some die from getting punched or kicked is kinda crazy. Also the way he's hunting them reminds me of Hero killer Stain from MHA and Ogre from Tekken.
@@KingKidGoku32794 I was not stating a reason why Goku lost. And I know the Zenkai Boost was not ''invented'' yet. But he was as good as dead. Therefore: Zenkai Boost! Same when he lost the first fight against Piccolo Senior, even before Piccolo got his youth back.
Tambourine is such an underrated villain. Krillin was likely the third strongest fighter in the tournament, and he gets killed in one blow. Goku also gets beaten easily, and is presumed dead after he's defeated(albeit hunger weakened) Then the show features Tambourine killing people left and right, with all the main fighters unable to stop him. It's even worse when it's established that King Piccolo is far stronger than Goku. It's like having an Arc with both the future Androids and Frieza in terms of hopelessness.
