Its not even funny how perfectly this song fits with the video. The original video is the exact same length of time as the song. The video stands alone as being a masterpiece because of how crazy and creative the cartoon is but the song which has a mellow beat only makes the video even better
You don't realize how much this video has influenced my view on this entire scene. I will NEVER be able to watch the original version the same again. Ever. This is too good. Far better than anything that tries to do the same thing
This music fits SO well with these visuals that I almost believe they worked the music around it/edited the video to fit timing/etc. It's just too damn perfect. Has to be intentional. Although, I've experienced weirder synchronized moments in my life so actually...this could be real!
+Sophie Sanborn could? still give you nightmares?, that's very vague ........it either could or it couldn't..........be more precise with your comment's woman.......(sarcasm).
It'll be a sad day when this gets removed by Disney at some point. I always come back to this like it's the official music video because it fits so well.
ah it's just a term my group of friends use for trippers, mostly LSD though. I think it suits cause LSD is a very gypsy-like drug and it has Psy for psychadelic in it. Feel free to use it if you like
Well he feels like an elephant Shaking his big grey trunk for the hell of it He knows that you're dreamin' about being loved by him Too bad your chances are slim And it's not like Mr. Shuck To get shy when I ask who always is on top There must be something deep down in the middle down there He's not too easily scared He's got friends but they got the feeling Wouldn't care too much if he just disappeared Oh, look, see there he is now coming down the stairs (Here he comes) He pulled the mirrors off his Cadillac (yeah) 'Cause he doesn't like it looking like he looks back He talks like his opinion is a simple fact Somebody grabbed his collar He cried the whole way home No one remembered a thing when they saw him again That's how it is 'til the end (yeah)
I just discovered Tame Impala, Pond and Jay Watson's band GUM. This is a great musical discovery. My favorite song so far is Don't Look at the Sun or You'll Go Blind by Pond
This is exactly what I pictured in my mind using the Walt Disney's Dumbo - dancing Elephant scene. I wondered if the bands inspiration for the song was used by a childhood memory of this scene. 🐘😆
