one day I am going to purchase or download every single Tame Impala song released. I am then going to drop acid and listen to all this music, chronologically, and watch Kevin Parker explain the universe to me through poetics.

WHAT. IS. THIS? How is it even possible for a band from the new age, to have the soul and the groove of a psychedelic band from the krautrock-times? I can tell you guys - Im already familiar with tame impala, but the more you dig into their sound, the more gems you discover. A miracle!

This song will always be Christmas Eve 2015 for me. Getting baked in the car with my dad in the driveway. The man introduced to me to a lot of classic rock so I figured I might as well return the favor. The new age medical marijuana blew his mind but not as much as the spell of Kevin Parker.

Every now and then I find myself listening to this '' *thing* '', This is not music but rather mesmerizing hypnostic ritual

such a talented band! so glad these guys are around playing this kind of music in this day and age. Tame impala has a remarkable mix of old and new, sounds nostalgic yet fresh at the same time. plus Kevin Parker is my hero as a producer.

I suspect Parker will come around full circle and start making more true psychedelia again such as this... he will get bored with where he is now and delve back into the ether. :)

I'm really glad the younger generation like myself are actually listening to real music, yeah we all have our guilty pleasures but honestly it makes me happy knowing people actually have taste in music and don't just listen to something because its the "cool" thing to do or "popular"... there's a lot of good music these days people just need to open their eyes a little more. Anybody wanna share their LSD experiences while tripping to Tame Impala? I recently did 1.5 of a gel tab and during my peak I decided to tell my ex girlfriend about this song. The song was already one of my favorites from Kevin but never got the chance to really experience it on the effects of acid. I put my Bose speaker fairly close to me and turn the light a blue ish color and I lay in the bed. The song starts to play and I automatically feel connected to it. Considering the fact I was tripping balls, the song felt super long. Engaging every second of it. By the time the song comes to the closing, I was staring into the roof and the popcorn chicken above. Everything was moving so vividly and in sync. By the time the guitar kicks in at 5:40 my whole chest gets lifted, like if I’m no longer connected to my physical body and I look into the roof and it’s a whole galaxy above me. I was completely blown away! The power and echo I felt in my body when Kevin sings “feeling in the core” was honestly so filling. But by the time the song ended, music to walk home by started playing and that’s a whole other trip to explain! Haha
